Coffee is okay, customer service is okay. Nothing special about it, so I would have given three or four stars, but we had a bad experience today.
In addition to getting my order wrong (12 instead of 24 oz), my wife ordered a bagel with cream cheese. They handed us a lightly warmed bagel and a tiny, hard package of cream cheese and a super flimsy knife. They charged 2.25 for something I could have gotten a the grocery store for .75 and did virtually nothing to prepare it, which means if I were alone and driving through (as it is a drive-​thru) I wouldn’t have been able to eat it. That’s not a mistake like the drink order, that is their established way of serving it. Unacceptable.
Normally I would shrug that off, but with so many great coffee places in the area, and with how otherwise mediocre Human Bean is, there is really nothing to recommend it. So if you have a gift certificate, go ahead and use it, but otherwise I suggest going to another coffee place.

The coffee is 5 stars, no question. Iced, hot, blended… Super tasty! and Locally owned which is important to me.
The two star rating is because of their dumpster placement… There is a giant brick wall around the dumpster that makes pulling in or out or even AROUND the coffee place, the bank and the taco bell a pain in the neck. It completely blocks the vision every driver in the «intersection» coming from every angle.
