Boston Market

Ordered the Thanksgiving Dinner and was very disappointed in what I received. The order form listed a full turkey and all the trimming to feed 12. The turkey came as sliced breast meat only.. The canberry sauce was a problem since they ran out. I had ordered the dinner from a different location before with better results. This location wasn’t ready for the Pre ordered demand. Someone missed the count.

Yeah. No. I generally like Boston Market, but this was a hot mess. I stopped in for dinner after a massage at Massage Green and before a party at my friend’s house.
Where do I begin?
The wait for the time to order. Yes, it was a Friday at 6 and there were a lot of people stopping in to pick up dinner. They need to get their crap together and figure out how to staff the cashier area (one doesn’t cut it) and how to get the items to the customers.
The food — Not sure what happened, but it really wasn’t good. I ordered the chicken carver sandwich on whole wheat. I was informed they were out of lettuce. Ok. That’s odd, but I still wanted a sandwich. I got a slop of cheese, chicken, tomatoes, mustard (I think) and chicken on a bun. After the first bite it fell apart because how soggy it was. I ordered mac and cheese as my side. Despite the fact that some had just been made in the back and the «Cook» was claiming it was hot, from the time I paid to the time I got to my seat, it was really cold. The pasta was also extremely underdone. I don’t like my mac and cheese crunchy. And there were huge globs of some type of a powdered substance all over.
The drinks — Out of iced tea.
The environment — The seating area didn’t offer a lot of tables, but of the few they had, about two were clean. The rest had plates, cups and other garbage on them. The place as a whole was pretty disgusting.
Ive never had a problem at the Boston Market in Novi or Canton. I sure as heck won’t be back to this one.

Turkey Sammy was just ok. I only go once every six months when we’re in a pinch at work for something different.

I love Boston market I always get the meal for three I get two sides of macaroni and cheese one loaded baked potatoes and it is awesome I am happy every time I ate there it is great I love it I will return again and again highly recommended five star does my voice sound excited

I’ve only been here a few times since moving to Westland, but I must say that this Boston Market is top notch. The food is good and the service unbelievable. The service is so good, it seems like I’m walking into one of those training videos where they show you how to properly deliver customer service. It’s definitely remarkable.

The food is great but the service sucks. I showed up on a sat. afternoon at 2:00 pm, ordered the meal for 6, half meatloaf half turkey. I was told it would be 35 min. for the meatloaf and 30 min. for turkey. I thought it was strange that they were out of 2 of the main courses that early in the afternoon but this was the second time that this happened

Just ate there with the GF, the food was good, good price. The service was outstanding, the staff was very professional and polite all the way around. If you like Boston Markets, this location is top notch. I usually don’t review things unless I am really dissatisfied or really impressed!

Boston Market is consistently prettyy good food and sides for a fairly decent counter meal. It’s not a real good bargain for a plated meal, but will continue to visit from time to time if they have a special or if I’m in need of a pretty good and quick meal. 3 stars and I’ll be back, on occasion…

I happen to be a big fan of Boston market. Have been ever since it was called Boston chicken. This particular branch while okay was a little on the slow side. There were a lot of their sides that were out and I would have had to wait a while to get. The cornbread was also on the more cooked side. Which while crunchy was not as yummy as I love.

OK, I know it’s a chain, but I stopped in for lunch with a friend anyway. They were having a special on their half chicken so away I went!
I had the half with sweet Thai sauce. It was really good! I liked it so much more than the breaded stuff at the Colonel’s place. The mac-​n-​cheese was pretty tasty, and the sweet potatoes were EXCELLENT! All for a reasonable price. My friend and I were both impressed.
The kicker was the service. Everyone working there was happy, friendly, and professional. They took the food to the table, got our drinks, checked on us periodically, and again they were CHEERY! Was I in the Twilight Zone?
Whatever they’re doing here, they’re doing it right and I urge them to keep up the good work!
