I mean, they make their own effing tempeh… just one of the ways that Kimball’s goes way beyond being just another college bar.
They’ve also got over a hundred beers (20 or so of them on tap) to pick from and a pub menu with fresh ingredients and great wings. Friendly staff and an eclectic group of regulars. Love this place.

We ate here because the Bullfrog had closed early on Sunday. We had just attended a chamber music concert at Lycoming College and were dressed accordingly. Upon entering Kimball’s, we almost didn’t stay as the place appeared run down and dirty and was looking a little scary. Fortunately for us we did stay and had a great meal! The selection of craft beer was outstanding and all five of us had delicious food. Our waitress was so nice and catered to our daughter’s dietary restrictions.

I love this pub! Many craft, local and unique beers on tap. The staff is always friendly! Great wings with a great house sauce and if you like spicy they have a couple that will kick your @$$!! At least it did mine!

Tried kimballs pub for the first time friday. Their vegetarian menu is great and the tofu wings are amazing… the food was so good we went and ordered food the following day. The beer selection is large and very clean and warm atmosphere. Highly recommend this place.

I’m a vegetarian from Philadelphia with tons of options that way so since moving here I’ve been searching for good veg-​spots. This place was amazing I got temp fingers and fries both awesome — they make there own temph I was so impressed — no philly spots do lol. The atmosphere was great as well quiet –friendly –chill. Highly recommend this place!

I’ve never left a review on Unilocal before, but I must say because of Unilocal we were able to find this place. Homemade tempeh is amazing. Never been anywhere else that has it. I highly recommend kimballs.

Great little bar and eatery. Kimball’s has an amazing selection of beer, both bottled and on tap (probably 20+ beers on tap). They have great deals, happy hour, and food. I’ve never had anything bad from Kimball’s and the service is always good. The bartenders seem very knowledgeable and they have the occasional live band or open mike night, which is a plus. I recommend the Cam Shaft sandwich, wings in their house sauce, soft pretzels and cheese, or really anything off their menu.

Absolutely the best hidden gem williamsport has to offer ! Great food! Great beer! Great atmosphere! Great everything! I am always so happy to see they have such a cool vegetarian menu along with some pretty delicious bar food ! I usually always get the turkey sub! They use top notch meats. I am always impressed by the extensive beer taps! Its a must when you come thru the area!

To all my fellow vegetarians, kimballs is absolutely excellent. Came in here as a vegetarian and a beer lover and was impressed by the options of craft beer and vegetarian dishes. Tofu with any choice of sauce was great, and the tempeh burger, WHICH by the way they quoted that is one 2 or 3 restaurants in the US that makes their own tempeh, was one of the top vegetarian burgers I’ve had. Beer was on point and will be going back to try the rest of the menu. Definitely give this one a try.

Very cheap beer and on campus at Penn Tech. Expect a lot of 21 – 23 year olds doing what they do best. It mentioned vegetarian fare, but I didn’t get a chance to try any.

Kimball’s is a fantastic place to go for lunch, dinner, or drinks. Not all of their specials are great, but there are a few that are killer. Mondays bring $ 5 Yuengling pitchers all day, AND 40 cent wings 8−10pm; Wednesday is $ 3 craft beer day, which is a great opportunity to try some new microbrews and expand your beer palate.
The food is great, with plenty of solid items (I’m a fan of the Cheesesteak, the Black and Bleu burger, and the house-​style wings), and the frips (Kimballs-​made chips) are a great side. The service is almost always knowledgeable and attentive, but can get swamped at busier times. You’ll still likely get your glasses refilled before they’re empty, though.
If you’re looking for a solid pub in the area, you can’t beat Kimball’s. Its proximity to Penn College makes it an ideal post-​test de-​stressing area, as well. Seriously, if you haven’t been yet, give it a try. You’ll find yourself coming back.

The best place in Williamsport to grab a bite to eat and a beer. Live music on weekends with no cover, Quizzo on wednesday nights, Open Mic on tuesday nights. Great bartenders, awesome food, great crowd. One of Williamsports gems.
