Adorable restaurant, great food, breakfast for lunch, they have a florentine Benedict, and it’s only $ 8! Excellent home fries and unlike most Worcester diners, the portions are reasonable for a non giant. To quote Tamra from The Mindy Project, «All pros, no cons!»
Also the corned beef hash looked deliciously fresh compared to other breakfast places and I would be all over that if I weren’t vegetarian.

Good food great staff always friendly… While sitting waiting for my food (came out fast) you can tell they take pride in all their customers and know their regulars wants and needs .
Only have eaten breakfast so speaking for breakfast but I’m sure lunch is good

Cute little breakfast spot. Got some eggs and kielbasa and the dude got an omelet and both were delish. Only complaint are the chairs, I think I have bruises on my hips they’re so narrow, ha!

I feel like the last 28 reviews were either friends or have never ventured outside of Lincoln St, for food. The food and service are mediocre at best. There are 13 tables total, when we walked in, there were 6 empty tables, there were 2 waitresses, and it took almost 10 minutes for 1 to come over and ask if we wanted coffee. Although I will add the food did come quick and it’s not over priced. The ham & cheese omelette, was deli ham chopped up and the omelette wasn’t even put together well. The chocolate chip pancake was undercooked inside while still having the crisp outside. The hash was corned beef shredded with potatoes and no extra seasoning. The home fries, are boiled potatoes then grilled or fried with salt, pepper and thyme, very plain!

This a no frills quality breakfast spot. It stands above the ubiquitous breakfast places that are so mediocre. The corned beef hash was by far better than just about every other place I have tried out there – it doesn’t come out of a can. Portions are reasonable and the food is shockingly cheap, it didn’t cost us $ 12 for two people. The coffee is also pretty good. Service is friendly.

I was up early to get some work done on a paper I was writing and was looking for breakfast places on Unilocal that looked like I could get some work done in. I found Salt & Pepper and decided to give it a try.
The atmosphere was really cute, the side tables are sort of like a couch lined with outlets and pillows, and there was a string of lights behind the bar/​register area. I ordered an egg-​white omelette with feta and spinach with wheat toast. It was pretty excellent, and despite usually skipping carb-​y sides, the home fries were also very well seasoned and delicious. The lady who took my order was *very* nice and attentive, she poured me very many cups of coffee – which was about 3 considering my Gilmore-​level of coffee drinking – and even offered to give me coffee to-​go.
I enjoyed it, it was a good experience, I would definitely come here again.

Awesome! Great tucked away place on Lincoln. I got the patriot baguette with onion rings. Wow! Panko breaded onion rings. My wife got breakfast combo 2 with french toast. Cmon! Homemade greek family bread recipe. Not a single complaint. Chef/​owner came out to see how everything was. Waitress/(i think owner) was great. Will absolutely be coming back. Pretty happy i work in the city so i can come here regularly.

Im the type of person thats not big on honefries cuz every place gives u a pound of greasy overcooked homefries. Not here. Very fresh, well cooked, well seasoned, no grease home fries.
Corned beef hash is outstanding. So fresh!!!
I like a place that takes its ingredients and food seriously and this is that place. Definitely worth a shot, ill be going there again for sure.

Went there for breakfast this morning. The food was great, hash is home made. Pancakes were huge. Friendly atmosphere. Nice to see a local place do well. Waitstaff friendly. Didn’t have to wait which was nice.

Okay, so some of the things were a little different but the food overall was very good. My daughter ordered cereal and it came with the milk already in it. I found that kind of strange. The drinks were delicious, and the hash was some of the best hash I have had in a very long time. Overall a good choice for a morning breakfast in downtown. I would definitely go back to this place again.

Despite living right down the street, I didn’t even realize it existed for about 6 months. After having been there I really love it! So cute, so clean, so delicious! I ordered an omelet, which was delicious, as were the potatoes! Our server was super friendly! I was a little bummed that they were out of the corned beef hash when I went, but that just gives me another great reason to go again! Can’t wait for nicer weather so my roommates and I can walk here!
