The food is amazing, great pizza and desserts. This was our first visit and we plan on coming back again!

This place is amazing! Best cannoli I have ever had! Best pizza around too! We had a slice of the pepperoni and one of the BBQ chicken. Both were so flavorful and delicious! We will be back for sure!

The food is amazing, no doubt about that! Unfortunately, I came to order a cake from the cake decorator and she was not very helpful or respectful. Some of the staff are a bit unfriendly as well. But other than that, great canolis!

I have only had their bakery items and coffee. I have not had any cannolis this good since going to little Italy in Manhattan. The service is great and their cakes are too. I have never liked the coffee at any place that uses beans from«New England coffee». It’s a shame that a good Italian bakery has this stale coffee. It is well worth a visit though for the cannolis.

Been here a few times. And honestly the workers kill the expierience. The girls at the registers are rude and not welcoming. I work in the restaraunt buissness so I’m always the one to give the benefit of the doubt but, its just un called for. As for the food I’ve had both the pastry’s and sandwiches and its nothing special. The workers always manage to mess up my order even when repeating back what I want. I really wanted to like this place since I live close by but I just can’t. Such a shame.

Tried this place yesterday while visiting my sister at college. It was everything you would hope for given it title. For 15 $ you can get a dozen mini items which was a very good price. The cannolis were excellent I tried a few different varieties. The all time best thing I have ever tasted was called the dynamite bite !!! It was a hard chocolate square rolled in buttery crust and had the cannoli filling on the inside with gooey caramel !! It was beyond good ! I will definitely return to this bakery again the next time I’m in town !

Didn’t even get to try anything, the guys aren’t as posted on Unilocal,it’s not open until 9p. It’s open until 7p, and when I tried to go in a few minutes passed 7p the girl at the counter still chatting with a customer told me that they were closed, as she went back to her conversation.

Wholly Cannoli I love you. feed me all of your mini cannolis. I haven’t tried anything else here but they have a variety of cannolis in both normal and mini versions, plus other cakes and Italian desserts. Definitely worth the trip!

Great food but the service was terrible. I drove 25 minutes today to arrive at 7:04 pm to be greeted by a locked door and an impatient employee. Online the hours for today(Thursday) are until 9pm. There are no closing hours on the door which leads me to believe they close whenever they want. After being let in I tell the employee that someone should change their hours on the website to which she rudely answered that no one manages their website so no one can change the hours. Needless to say I walk out. They won’t get my business again!

Rivals the cannoli at Mikes or the Modern. Crappy location. But still a pretty freaking good cannoli!

This is the best bakery in Worcester! You have to try their sandwiches they’re huge and delicious! I recommend the cordon bleu, steak and cheese, and herb chicken focaccia! Don’t leave without the dynamite stick you won’t regret it!

Love their sandwiches. The roma and the napoli are the best! Tomato, basil, mozzarella mmm delicious. Favorite thing is the lobster tales pastry! Creamy and flaky. Great with coffee or milk.

I called WC about 1 hour ago to inquire about pastries for approx. 280 people for next weekend. I wanted info on some products for allergen reasons. I asked what the crunch was on the dynamite sticks, cherry bombs… to my dismay the girl who answered the call said«I don’t know, it’s kinda like a butter crunch, I can’t really tell you what it is since I don’t really know». Well obviously that was not helpful. I asked if it contained nuts? «I don’t know. She continuously kept pushing platters off on me during our conversation, but when I asked about different flavors .(.now remember this is a week and a half notice)…she said I don’t know what we will have available. SO…sorry WC you will not be getting my order.

Maybe they should figure out how to make a standard cannoli before branching out into all these strange combinations. What I’ve had from here was soggy and pretty bland. Mediocre cappuccinos.

Bakery is on point. Large selection of baked goods, cannoli’s, cake and Italian cookies. Coffee is very good as well. Try getting out of there with a box of sweets and not eating them in your car.

I try and stop in for lunch whenever I am around, the pizza is excellent, or if you want a sandwich like you would get at a restaurant for way less, they have really top quality deli meats, and they make the bread so the sandwiches are really swanky(ingredients like roasted red pepper, artichoke hearts, fancy cheeses etc.) I like that they offer many seasonal and new unusual pastries, many pastry shops always have the same thing, and Wholly Cannoli has all their classics, but cool new stuff a lot too. The ricotta pie is excellent, better than Mikes Pastries, try and get one(they have them at the holidays).

Speed in for my first time and I was very impressed with the service and the quality of the pay and subs. I ordered the Italian sandwich and a chocolate covered cannoli. The Italian sandwich was on a bulkie roll. This sandwich was easy to grip it was so big and taking a bite was a jaw adjustment. Piled high with fine italian cold cuts delicious. The cannoli was filling was sweet and smooth and the shell firm and crunchy and great mix. Fantastic place.

August 23, 2014 Holy moly … where’s the cannolis? Mom and I are never in the Worcester area, but since we had just eaten dinner in nearby Millbury, we decided to have our dessert at the popular bakery Wholly Cannoli. I had been to Wholly Cannoli years before, but not since they redid the place. What was once a tiny brick building filled with several different kinds of cannolis is now a large bakery loaded with cakes, cookies, pies, tarts and very few cannolis. In fact, there were only about six different kinds to choose from aside from the mini versions located in a separate case. Now Mom and I love cannolis, but we enjoy a plainer shell versus one covered in chocolate or other toppings. Nearly everything was coated in something, so we had to suck it up if we wanted to buy some. We chose four large cannolis(white chocolate raspberry, Limoncello, caramel fudge swirl and Symphony Chip — all with dipped shells) and two mini cannolis(pistachio filling with plain shells) for a total of $ 18. We ate the two pistachio cannolis right there at one of their small tables. We both remembered the strong pistachio flavor from years ago, and it was still the same smooth cream that we had been craving. The shell was perfectly plain with a slight crisp which allowed the cannoli to be bitten without completely falling apart. An absolutely delicious dessert. We couldn’t wait to taste the others. The next day we decided to cut up the remaining cannolis and sample them at our kitchen table. The first one we tried was the Symphony Chip, which was made with chocolate, peanut butter, butterscotch and white chocolate chips. Even the shell itself was coated in white chocolate. Although it was tasty and the shell was pretty good, both Mom and I felt that there was too much going on with this cannoli. We couldn’t tell what the components were, and it simply came across as overly sweet. To be honest, we expected it. Next up was the Limoncello and the white chocolate raspberry. We liked both, but both Mom and I noticed that each cannoli only had cream at the edges. It seemed as though the bakers weren’t actually filling the entire cannoli. All of the middles were completely hollow, which means that they were probably only giving a squirt to each side. For $ 18, I want that thing STUFFED. As for the taste, each of their cannoli shells was filled with either lemon or raspberry cream, which was zesty and refreshing. The shells were OK, but a little on the hard and crunchy side. Lastly, the caramel fudge swirl was our biggest disappointment. I didn’t like the taste of the chocolate covered shell at all. It seemed like it was made with a low quality chocolate, which seems weird considering the prices of all the pastry. Even the filling wasn’t that great. It was extremely sweet and really not enjoyable. Mom and I tried to scoop out the filling since it was better than the shell, but we left most of it on our plates. Wholly Cannoli’s signature cannoli is called the Dynamite Stick — their famous filling covered in caramel and dipped in a chocolate crunch shell. We did see those in stock, but we didn’t get one. We tried it years ago and really didn’t like it. To us, it wasn’t a cannoli. It was a big blob of chocolate with a dollop of cream lost in the center. I’m surprised that Wholly Cannoli seems to be getting away from the cannolis and focusing more on prepared foods and other pastries. Perhaps it works for them, but we just wish they carried more plain flavors over the«loaded» versions. We’d actually like to taste the cannoli and not the ingredients.
