I have given this place a couple of tries in the hope that the dreadful experiences were one offs, but it seems not. Ignored by staff tonight when entered, no eye contact or acknowledgement. After waiting for 15 mins went elsewhere. Surprised anyone bothers with this place.

Really good value for money restaurant. Angela i/​c breakfasts absolutely superb in terms of service, advice about local amenities and making customer feel valued. Well supported by Grace. Food excellent, well cooked and plenty of it. Evening meals fine, too. Good value for money (being from Jarrow that’s ‘s important!!) and good service. Would recommend Wobbly Wheel to anyone. Works well with the Premier Inn as excellent value for a short break.

Will never eat there again. Service poor. Terribly seated when we had pre-​booked. Orders were mixed up. Food average to say the least. Has certainly gone down hill.

The Wobbly Wheel is a good family pub. Its part of the pub fayre chain. Its nothing fancy, though has recently had a face lift. the service on the whole is fast but on occasions the orders have been sent from the kitchen wrong. food on the whole is good and they have a great childrens menu.

This is not a bad place to go for a meal with kids. It’s a bit generic — both the décor and the food but it’s quite spacious and so good for wandering kids. The food was the usual pub fayre and the service was ok, although forgetting a coffee at the end of the meal wasn’t the best way to end what was quite a pleasant experience.
