Was brilliant the first couple of times I have went but lately it has not been that nice. Service is always good and there is a nice atmosphere but the food standard has dropped a little I would expect more from a restaurant but I think I could get a better cheaper meal from a take away, if I’m honest.

Absolutely love the food at Red Panda. On their events nights at the Odyssey, Red Panda do an events menu(set menu) which is varied and reasonably priced. Food is absolutely delicious with generous portion sizes, the staff are friendly and their facilities are clean and tidy. Highly recommended.

The food in Red Panda is absolutely excellent, we are a nation that loves Chinese food and this place continually serves up the best example of Asian Cuisine. Im all for authenticity but recently when I was in Red Panda, I was accompanied by a particularly picky eater and she asked for an adjustment to her dish and the waitress stared back blankly. It turned out that the waitress did not speak much English and she had been blagging the order from the menu. Pretty clever but it caused a break down in communication. My advice is that if you go to the Red panda don’t deviate to much from the Menu, who knows what you will end up with?

The Red Panda is a great little restaurant in the Odyssey. On our shopping trip, we took a walk around the Odyssey and upon finding this place open and with no one else in it, we thought to leave and go elsewhere. But then we looked at sign that said all you can eat for £13.90. Now unlike other all you can eat places, £13.90 is quite expensive so it should have been nicer than China China or The China Buffet King place. Though the dangerous fella amongst me would probably have punted for absolutely everything with the hope of trying to get as much down his throat as possible, and perhaps because it was aided by the fact there were no queues to join or no one putting you off by burying their face in a bowl of curry, I ate my food taking my time, without slopping loads onto my plate and in the most relaxed atmosphere you are likely to find anywhere. They had everything you would normally expect at a Chinese all you can eat. Everything from your appetisers, a selection of curries, the usual. Nothing about this place made me go «wow I’ve never had it before» but the chicken curry was as nice as I’ve had it anywhere else and after two rounds of going up I was stuffed. My main issue is that to charge £13.90 when other places are doing it for half the price should me the food is twice as nice. I cannot really gauge how much I should be spending on a buffet like this. Though the atmosphere was less carnival as the Buffet King, and more relaxed than China China, and it did seem more professional, I think the buffet is a tad over-expensive. Perhaps a round £10 should get you all you can eat but in saying that the Red Panda was very nice and I will certainly be back. I just wonder if anyone else is going to be there

I’ve lost count of the amount of times I’ve eaten in here. I’ve come just with the other half, or a good friend, and sometimes I’ve been with groups of ten or twelve of us, before going to a concert in the Odyssey next door, or heading upstairs to the cinema. The food is always, always, always, excellent — and I’ve had several dishes in here, from the Chicken Satay to the Honey Chilli Chicken or the Plum Duck and they have all been gorgeous. The service is swift and the menu is extensive. What I like about it is that the tables aren’t too close together and the atmosphere is very inviting and the staff are extremely attentive. The prices are reasonable too, so it’s a good choice for a night out.

The service here is very good, if not a bit over-bearing at times. The service is very quick, food arrives minutes after being ordered, not always a bad thing though as people may be going to shows in the Arena. It’s a reasonably big restaurant with a bright, modern feel. They do some nice cocktails and the drinks menu is average for the type of establishment. Food prices are reasonable, but it’s not the place for a romantic drawn-out dinner.

Been a couple of times. if you go before a big concert then its rush baby rush! A limited menu on these nights is a bit disappointing, you will be limited to 4 or 5 starters and mains and the Q of people in the doorway are ready to snap your seat up the second you vacate it. Speed is still key on non concert nights, I found it wasn’t the place to relax. its so busy. Food is good, service quick and portions adequate in size. Clean and a real bustling feel to it

God, I hate the Red Panda in the Odyssey. It’s just a horrible place: always jam packed with hoards of people(which is only by virtue of it’s location within the Odyssey complex surely — I can’t imagine why so many people would come here otherwise), in a terrible setting, with tasteless, overly sweet food thrown at you within 5 minutes of taking your seat this is not a place to come to savour 3 courses and coffe over the course of an evening, it’s all about the seat churn here. Full of stag and hen nights, so not suitable for a quiet chat either.

The fiancé had been boasting about the Honey Chili Chicken for some time so I was anxious to try it. Although the place was packed, we were seated right away and we didn’t even have a reservation. Service was prompt. In addition to the Honey Chili Chicken, we also ordered Sui Mai for appetizer and Mongolian Beef as the other entrée. Mongolian Beef was out of this world. It’s the best Chinese food I’ve had in Belfast, I must say. The Honey Chili chicken was sweet but had a mild spicy kick to it. Chicken was juicy and moist. The beef was tender and the sauce was gorgeous. The Fiancé wanted to appear all cultural and civilized, so he ordered green tea. The Chinese waitress gave him a talking to and said they don’t have green tea but the Chinese tea(meaning green tea is Japanese). She came out with a tall mug of steaming hot water with a ball of green prickly stuff. The prickly stuff started to unravel and bloom into a beautiful flower. It was neat!!! Food: 4 Customer Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2 If it weren’t for the blaring ABBA music, I’d give it a 3.

This restaurant is the Red Panda Chinese situated in the Odyssey pavillion. I’ve been here 2 or 3 times. My first time was an extremely busy Saturday night at the Odyssey during an event, so it was a baptism of fire. There was some queuing to to get a seat but once we sat down(table for two) the service was amazingly quick and efficient. Perhaps this was because of the queues but the waitresses were waiting with our main meals just as we polished off starters. The food itself was delicious. Although for a poor student It was a little expensive. A good choice for a meal while your in the odyssey.
