You MUST visit the Cobweb if you are in (or near) Boscastle. I am rating this for atmosphere & drinks (no food was ordered). This is a real pub, with all of its history there to see. Wow! Ordered a local cider. Off the charts good. Should have had at least 2; ok — 3. Can’t wait to return.

Having wandered around Boscastle, it was time for a pint. Found this wonderful pub, with a good selection of local ales. Ignore the outside as that isn’t really inviting but once through the doors a friendly greeting was received from the bar staff. Good service. Plenty of seating with interesting ‘bits and bobs’ around the walls.

We use the Cobweb fairly often and have found, that the fayre is very good wholesome local produce, surrounded by a warming atmosphere, we would recommend it to anyone in visiting the area.

Well, we were in the restaurant part of it witch was seperated from the pub. the service was funny but maybe a little bit crazy: D the restaurant was full but we didn’t have to wait long for the food. well, i had chicken breast in bbq sauce and i to be honest, i’ve already eaten better chicken.
so for the restaurant 2 stars. sorry
