Mary Englebright does Dickens? Ubberquaint, authentic and foodiehaven. You want the Darjeeling room. Why on Earth stay in a sterile and synthetic«motel» for more money when the Thatched Cottage is 15 mins from beaches, clubs, and A31?

Perfect in every way! Michelin 2012 food, great staff, very comfy beds, take dogs, pizza oven oh and it is in the middle of the New Forest(Brockenhurst) just a hop skip and jump from the sea too. Delicious rooms! Great stay! We want to move in ;-) Josh

Overpriced. Staff are unsure of what ham is, and unaware of the difference between the different salads on their own menu. Ordered food thrice, still waiting for sandwiches that require no cooking, 20 minutes later. Tea is PG tips at £2.50 a pot. Nice tea pot though

One night here is not enough… there are only a few rooms but all are differant, we had the Darjeeling’ & ‘Lord Earl Grey’ which had the biggest open fire ive ever seen, low ceilings, rugs and a rocking chair… its sooo cosy and romantic to the max. Breakfast is served till late 11am… thats cool in itsself lol. I recomend the blueberry pancakes and bacon… huge. Look at the website for special offers too.
