I want to love this place as they do good deals and are local but there’s something missing that makes their pizzas taste OK but not great. I like that you can mix and match toppings, that normally there isn’t too much crust and not enough cheese and that they have good deals but the taste doesn’t wow me. Maybe it’s the garlic butter as another reviewer mentioned.

Got a delivery was told 30 to 40 mins. Got it in 25. Pizza was hot as if it was just out the oven. Driver was polite and had the correct change ready. We had a meal for 2 at 14.99. A hot pepper passion pizza and cheesy jalapeño bite. They were delicious. And the coke was ice cold a perfect finish to the meal. I would highly recommend this pizza shop.

Three or four stars… That’s the question. No doubt this is a better chain alternative than Domino’s (although the garlic butter you get a Papa John’s is truly awful) but it is still a chain. Saying that I really miss the Papa living in East Kilbride :-(
What I like about this place is they tend to do better offers than Domino’s and the largest pizza on offer is actually bigger than a Domino’s pizza — so it’s better value for money when trying to feed a lot of people.
When there’s good independent pizza places like CC’s and Dario’s nearby I can’t justify a 5 star review, but Papa John’s is my favourite of the «big» pizza chains.
