Another large chain close to the office. Pre 9am and around lunch time the queue can be quite long, practically out the door but the staff are always cheerful and the queue moved quite quickly. In terms of price it is more expensive than sainsburys or some of the local shops but you are guaranteed a good wrap etc. I love the avocado sandwiches and some of the protein pots and particularly the crayfish and avocado salad. Also the tomato and cheese croissant is one of my favourite hot breakfast items. Fun fact, before my internship interview 2 years ago, I sat and revised for my interview in this shop. The staff didn’t mind me sitting in and working. So I always smile if I ever sit in as I remember being so nervous sat there years ago.

Decent lunch for a chain. The hot wraps are hot and tasty, the staff efficient, the drink list fun. I’m sure you can do better, but I’m equally sure you can do worse. No complaints.

Happy Staff, happy me :-) Chains aren’t everyone’s cup if tea, but I don’t discriminate between chain and indi when it comes to atmosphere, service and product. Sure, I’d love to support the local deli next door, but not when I’m greeted with a grunt. A freshly prepared sandwich and hot off the press coffee hit the spot this morn and all served by a joyous Juan ;-)

I used avoid this brand of coffee shop as I always thought it was macdonald’s that owned the brand, but all that was years ago when macdonald’s had a 33% stake in the company. Now it a privately owned company that pays their taxes. This store would not be my first choice of coffee shop but as l was passing by l glanced in the door and was surprised to see how welcoming this place was they must have had a refit or rebranding, new seating area with the aroma of fresh coffee smell as a coffee shop should be. There is a wide selection of foods available here to sit in or to go, I was on a mission and could only order out. The coffee on offer is nice and a nicer alternative choice than Starbucks.

Standard Pret fare but always busy and run by friendly staff. Opens early to catch the office crowd on the way to work and closes early as a result. Somewhat expensive as all Prets are but one of the better branches. Staff who remember your order are always to be recommended.

This shop is away from the main shopping streets of Glasgow and mostly caters for office staff. They open early in order to catch the breakfast trade. Everything is made from scratch that day on the premises. They sell a vast variety of sandwiches, salads, rolls, soups, cakes, coffees etc. Everything is kept clean and tidy to the highest of standards. They offer buffet services to outside clients as well as selling sandwiches instore. I cannot recommend it highly enough, it is more expensive than most sandwich shops but is well worth it for a treat. Crayfish and Rocket sandwiches are a highlight as well as the carrot cake. Yum Yum!
