Horrendously expensive, and teeny tiny portions, but pretty tasty. There are two restaurants within the same location, the other one was popular, this one had one other table occupied. The waiter was a bit dour, but maybe he was bored. I got a slightly irritated vibe from him, which may be because he was trying to get an early finish, or because i was being cheerful and that wasn’t allowed. Anyway, I stayed for the 3 courses as the photo’s show. The venison was delicious, the main course threatened liquorice but i think they just wave it above the food :-)
The desert was a battenberg soufflé which i found intriguing. The wine was good.
Next time i think i will try next door.

Upon arrival was told table would be ready in 5-​minutes. 25-​minutes later was still seated in the bar but told table was being changed over and would be ready momentarily. 75-​minutes later finally seated. Never offered a drink despite all the time at the bar. Service was lackluster at best.
Despite being wafer thin steak was tough, veggies overcooked and uninspired. Dessert was bland. Gave it 2-​stars solely for the ambience; otherwise 1-​star.
