Tucked away inside, towards the back of this pub is a beautiful little restaurant that serves possibly the best Thai food I have eaten since returning from Thailand. It really does feel like the best kept secret around town, a lovely hidden gem! The restaurant staff are usually very helpful and it’s always so busy– sign of a good place! Serving sizzlers on skillets, traditional curries, noodles, platters and some great fish the menu caters for all tastes. Both a’la carte and set menus= Good value for money and they accept taste card which saves a big chunk!

Nice ambience, reasonable price and drink selection. Food is mostly fine, thai curries are nice and the lunch for a fiver on weekdays deal is excellent. The noodle dishes are way too oily.

Great Thai food in the area. Been coming here for years. Never had a bad meal. Need to book for Saturday nights…

I was surprised to hear that British pubs sometimes serve Asian cuisine in their kitchens. We were told of this pub by good friends, so we ventured out to try it. My girlfriend and I went to the Norbiton and Dragon for their famous ‘Curry and a Pint’ night. We were pleasantly surprised by the great food, with generous portions and the friendly staff. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed. The price is cheap and they have two special food and pint days a week. We will be back to try some more of the dishes.

A good little local that we visited while staying in Norbiton. Beer options were a little limited but not starved. It was a warm night, so we sat outside in the large beer garden where we kept company with a fox. Said fox trotted around, was fed by other punters, and peered forlornly that he and his fat little belly couldn’t reach up on the picnic tables. It was a little bit offputting having him wander around, but he was clearly more comfortable with it than we were. Anyhow, urban foxes wandering around aside, this bar is pretty reasonable as a local watering hole — a little anonymous and bland to really have any strong character, but perfect for a summers day hanging out with friends.

A great local pub, with friendly staff and a lovely, relaxed enclosed beer garden, perfect for hot summer afternoons! Child-friendly too, with space for them to play while adults can have a relaxed drink or meal. The bar menu is good value and delicious, but for a more substantial meal, the restaurant is superb. Authentic Thai cuisine, in a more formal restaurant setting, although there is a lovely deck for Al Fresco dining also. With traditional Thai décor and attentive staff, the Norbiton & Dragon makes an excellent choice for a quick drink after work, a lunch time bite, or full dining experience.

This is our office’s local, and it is a bit of a surprise to find such a relaxing, nice, modernised pub in this stretch off the London Road. It’s actually part of a chain of pubs serving Thai food alongside a selection of beers, wines and spirits. The vibe is South-East Asia meets Ye Olde English Pub English pub food is served during the day at the bar, alongside some nicely selected Asian treats. There is only Asian food at night and in the restaurant. There’s also a take-away menu. I particularly enjoy the curved Victorian frontage of the Norbiton & Dragon, which relates inside to a curved bar. I like the contemporary feel; there are lots of nice comfortable armchairs and sofas to settle into with a drink. Outside, the pub has lots of space in a garden very nice for summer evenings. Food is Thai/Chinese; all the Thai classics are cooked perfectly well; a Thai food afficionado in our party proclaimed her choice authentic. Service can be slow(eaten here twice and the kitchen is very slow, even on non-busy evenings) — as well as sometimes confused front of house, but always amiable.
