In their own words, if you need to plan a party, Confetti is the right place to be. This shop is full of everything you think you might need and more. There are tables made up to give you inspiration for how you might want to dress the tables on your big day; almost life sized helium balloons of a bride and groom; and of course, confetti. You can buy candles and disposable cameras in packets of 10. For the hen party you can get your pink cowboy hat and L plates. But it doesn’t just provide wedding celebration items. They have birthday cards and decorations too. In theory this all sounds very exciting but the thing that I liked the most was the jelly bean factory — huge tubes of every colour and flavour of jelly beans you could imagine! I don’t know how this relates to wedding celebrations but I love it.

If planning a wedding, a browse around Confetti may make one feel that however extensive and minutely detailed their plans, they had somehow missed out swathes of ‘essential’ items, such as champagne bottle-shapes bubble blowers and decorative invite sleeves. I think these endless wedding accessories only serve to make the ‘most special day of your life’ also the most stressful. If I get married I’ll be having none of it! However, I know there are a good few control freaky people out there who delight in choosing everything from the precise width of gold leaf border on their place names to the exact height of the origami swan serviettes. For these people, Confetti would be pure heaven!

Confetti is one of those shops that helps fuel a girls dream of a big white(or rainbow coloured) wedding. With everything in store from table favours, flowers and tiaras — there’s everything you need to put on a beautiful wedding display for your big day. The store offers expert wedding consultations free of charge to every customer and the staff will happily talk your ear off about weddings and place cards. I always get a bit excited when I visit here, there’s so many pretty bits and pieces to look at. One of the novelties here was the ‘Halloween Table’. Full of spiders and bright orange flowers… creative, stylish and affordable! Who loves Confetti?! I DO!!!
