One of the better places to eat or grab a coffee in the area. The staff were friendly and the coffee was superb. The pizza was genuine Italian thin-pan and it tasted good! My friend had the pasta and this too was very tasty. The place lacked a bit of atmosphere but perhaps this is because its new. All in all when you consider the cheap prices, its a very good local place to eat.

Mez Mez is a slightly strange place in which a pizza restaurant and a café(or caffe as they spell it) have been combined with bizarre results. Because it’s located next to the even more bizarrely-combined-restaurant Steakz and Shakez(steak and smoothies from the same place?) this place doesn’t seem that out of place, but really, I don’t think the combo works. I was in here the other day, just to get a coffee, which I must say was pretty lovely(the fact that it calls itself a caffe rather than a café shows that they know a fair bit about how the Italians drink the stuff). This was mid afternoon, and there was a couple sat near me chomping down pizzas. In a coffeeshop. It didn’t seem right. Or perhaps it was me that was just having coffee in a pizza restaurant, and perhaps it didn’t seem right to them that I was there. Whatever the case, the atmosphere suffers because of the combined forces, and while the service was good and the coffee delectable, there are definitely better places to eat and drink in harmony on the same stretch of road.
