Oh dear. I *hate* to downgrade, but I guess they can’t be perfect forever. In the last two times I’ve ordered here, they’ve gone downhill. Fingers crossed it’s temporary, since they were my absolute fave, but there have been a few things not-so-right of late! I will say, however, they’re still the only place I know of who do butter chicken, which is delish. Firstly, the time before last there was a weird unidentifiable item in my butter chicken. I couldn’t be sure, but it seemed the texture of fish — maybe crab or lobster? It didn’t affect the rest of the dish, which I devoured, but I didn’t enjoy that. Then I ordered raita to go with some other bits, which was really just not very nice. And lastly, a few days ago I attempted butter chicken again and the sauce was a lot more watery than usual. Not terribly thin, but much less creamy. Sad times! Despite this, I think one last chance is in order. I did love them so much before, after all. Or maybe I need to actually try a different menu item for once, and branch out…

Once again my cup runneth over… with poppadoms that is. It’s like they look at how many you’ve asked for, and double it just to be safe. No complaints here! I’ve ordered from these guys a few more times since my last review and they’ve yet to disappoint me — totally delicious curry, delivered on time with no hassle. Fab.

I previously reviewed Naeem’s, I’m gutted to say it seems to have taken a serious dive into the depths of terrible customer service, below average food and ridiculous waiting times. Our food this evening took 2 hours to arrive. When we called to enquire about the food, we were told it would be with us in ten minutes. We were then called back, asked to repeat our address details, the guy on the phone then badly covered the phone with his hand and said«it’s not left yet has it?» then told us the driver was on the way, and didn’t apologise for the delay. It arrived barely warm, again without reference to the fact we’d ordered it two hours ago. Had it been fresh and an acceptable temperature, it would have been average — however it obviously sat waiting to go out for delivery for at least 30 minutes, without so much as an unexpected poppadom to apologise for the terrible customer service. I couldn’t finish mine, as I was so angry at how hungry and disappointed I was, so overall a huge waste of time and money. We were completely ripped off and as we ordered online, there’s nothing we can do about it.
