We were doing a pub/bar tour of Leeds a couple of nights ago and our local«guide» took us here, known as «Spoons» to the locals(and maybe everybody else in the UK.). We were just there for a beer and I had an interesting tasting one although I cannot remember the name of it — something like«Indiana’s…» Don’t remember the other word but once I get to my photos and I let you know by posting a pic I took. The place had what, about a dozen beers on tap/draught and I wish I had tried more but the rule was, one pub, one beer(although the better drinkers than me in the group broke that rule!). Prices were reasonable, the place was very clean, there was a good staff so waiting on drinks was always a short wait and the atmosphere was really vibrant. If ever I find myself in Leeds again, this will be a stop to try some of the other beers.

Yeah I’m in Wetherspoons and surprisingly enough the bar is pretty quiet and chilled. No trouble. No chavs at the bar in Leeds United or Sheffield Tuesday shirts… Nothing that bad. I opted for a bottle of Brooklyn, which was relatively cheap at £2.99! Not bad at all! Pretty cheap compared to some bars in Leeds, but for a bit extra you can actually go to Brewdog and get a pint of Punk IPA. More importantly Brewdog plays music. I wouldn’t make this my favourite, but it’s my place to go when I’m poor and having to drink on a budget. I don’t think I can out up with no music in a pub too often. It’s depressing listening to a load of Northern Rail employees moan about how crap their shifts were. It’s more tame than MY local boozer though. No fights is always good.
