We wandered into this restaurant expecting the view to be incredible from the top of the Mersey Ferry Terminal Building, and the view gets 5 stars. It has large windows giving a gorgeous panoramic view of the River. However, there was no music playing, which detracts from the overall ambience. That is the best thing I can say about this place, because the food was really subpar. I had the Pla Plau, which is sea bass marinated in thai herbs. My first impression was that it was beautifully presented and fragrant! However, the fish was overcooked and rubbery and there were bones throughout the fillets. On a good note though, the sauce was amazing! I imagine that if the fish were properly cooked and deboned, it would have been worth the £20.

Truly excellent and completely unexpected at the Ferry Terminal here Merseyside. Green curry is deep and coconut-y satisfying, Tom Yum excellent with heat and lemongrass, and Singapore Tiger draft beer is super fresh. Modern interior and a well-heeled younger clientele bode well for the future down here at Liverpool’s great Albert Dock area.
