SO excited I happened upon this place…
I was getting lost in Soho (on purpose — no better way to figure out a new city) and saw this cute little café just as I was thinking, «Hm, I wonder if there’s somewhere nice to get a cappuccino besides crappy Starbucks?» And voila — 16 mm Café.
I happen to be a film and work in the film industry in America, SO this place seemed serendipitous for me to find.
The staff were friendly and I even made a new friend while sipping my tasty capp.
This will for sure be my hang out spot once I’m in London proper!
p. s. food looked and smelled delish! Can’t wait to try some…

Très accueillant. Ici on mange des bons pâtes les plats sont un peu différents que les équivalents italiens par exemple des pennes avec du fromage Feta, des spaghettis avec de la crème et du jambon, mais qui n’ont pas le même goût que des carbonara. Le pain Ciabatta à l’ail a été parfait et le tout aux prix très raisonnables. Je né sais pas si le restaurant est ouvert le soir. L’endroit est juste derrière les magasins d’Oxford Street, donc mieux pour l’heure du déjeuner que les petits cafés touristiques.

I’m going to echo JDLK’s love-​fest. I adore 16 mm. Juices are freshly squeezed, the coffee’s potent and good value and the snackage is hearty, unpretentious and freshly prepared.
Best of all though? Well, aside from the airy room, the central location, lovely natural light, the supremely friendly staff — by my second visit, they already remembered my regular order — the cakes and the music, they have free wifi: I’m actually writing this IN 16 mm. And they’re also so lovely, if your battery’s dying, they’ll let you plug your laptop in. It’s my new Soho office

I spotted this café one morning because of the orchids displayed on the window. I was not disappointed when I walked in because of the warm and inviting ambiance. It’s a nice neighborhood café and you won’t feel rushed to finish your coffee or meal. The food was good but next time, I will ask for more lettuce for my BLT sandwich! I plan to return again with my husband who appreciates a nice place to start his morning.
