Good food but poor service. One person waiting on the entire place. Not her fault but many tables not happy. Need to hire more people:.when place emptied out surprisingly 3 more people came out of no where to help. Not managed well. Pizza’s worth it though.

A place for Italian food, the pasta portions are big. The atmosphere of the restaurant is calm and has a good vibe to it.

This Branch of Ask Itallian is opposite an exit of Baker Street Station, I came in here looking for a nice Gluten Free meal and I did not leave disappointed. I ordered a Fiorentina Gluten Free Pizza without the Olives, the Gluten Free Pizza base was actually quite nice and was a very large one as well, I would of preferred the spinach to be chopped and put on the pizza instead of whole but everything else was quite nice, the egg around the middle was fantastic. With this being my first time at Ask Italian, I was excited to try a Gluten Free Pizza not from the Big 3 Chains and I left happy with the food tasting so great and this makes me want to visit a nearer Ask Italian to me, I would defiantly recommended here to coeliacs and non coeliacs alike! Other foods sold by Ask Italian is Pasta, Risotto and some of these can be done Gluten free as well, and they is more! The only reason I did not give 5 star was the Spinach situation.

Visited with a friend In the evening the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly it is good restaurant for groups/families We ordered the starters of the different mix Dough balls(very filling don’t order a pizza or anything bread like as a main after you won’t manage to finish for me it was too heavy with both our mistake) The calamari was yummy they gave you a dipping sauce and lemon wedge I then ordered a Calzoni which was filled with chicken vege etc it was filling and wasn’t dry so it was good but again don’t order dough balls as a starter Overall I would return to the establishment again ;)

The best thing about this place was that it was open, and had gluten free options for pasta. So I was able to order something I don’t normally get to. But it’s kind of a weird, modern place. Still, the food was OK.

I’m normally not too much of a fan of chains but I really like this branch of Ask. I first came here with a group of work colleagues as I work in the area & it was great, we had good & quick service & there was a good atmosphere in there too. On the few times I’ve returned, particularly as they accept the fabulous Taste card, I’ve been even more impressed by the quick, friendly & polite service — you basically get the service you expect or at least hope to get and it seems usually don’t in this day and age. There is a variety of starters, mains(including good veggie options too) and wonderful desserts too — if you make it that far! Ask…and see what you get! ;-)

Ummmm… YUM! Plus good service. 5 stars in my book. We were in search of something good to eat after a long day of walking and sight seeing in London. Baker Street was off the tube line on the way back to the hotel so we decided to stop here. We wandered around for a bit when a local sneezed on me and apologized. He asked if we were lost. We said no, just looking for somewhere good to eat that was kid friendly since we had my 16 month and 3 year old nieces with me. He pointed us down the street and said there was a few down that way. The first one we came across was ASK. There was also a sign outside that said«Father’s Eat Free on Father’s Day!» it was Father’s Day and my brother is all about free stuff so we went in. We were greeted warmly immediately and allowed to pick a table. We sat right in the front away from the other patrons because we know how the girls can get late at night especially when they are tired and hungry. The server brought over very cool jumbo wooden crayons for the girls to play with and also gave them some paper to color a Father’s Day message for my brother. Very cute. They offered to order us bread and we knew that it wasn’t free because we had a moment to see on the menu that there was a charge for it. We were STARVING so we went ahead and got some. I’m so glad that we did. It was DELICIOUS. My 3 year old niece who is a very picky eater wanted more and more. She could have easily ate a whole order by herself. For our meals we decided to share a pizza and pasta dish amongst the three adults. We ordered the Caprina Primo Pizza and the Rigatoni di Manzo Piccante pasta dish. They both were EXCELLENT. The toppings on the pizza perfectly complimented each other and the pasta was probably one of the best I have ever consumed… and I have consumed a lot of pasta. We were definitely very pleased with our selections. Service was great until the end. Our server even helped us get the massive double stroller out the front door for us. We were definitely very pleased with our experience at ASK.

I have already been to enough pizza expresses to know what they are about, so when boyf said«Italian?» I said«Anywhere but Pizza Express» even though they’re pretty darn good. He took me to Ask. This location is comfortable and the service was attentive and polite – the only thing I was unhappy with in this regard was that it’s one of those places where the first thing the server asks is if he can order you some bread for the table and the bread isn’t free. Our server was quite soft spoken so I had to step in and keep the boyf from saying«yes» to the bread as he generally does when he can’t hear what he’s asked. The food was your standard italian chain fare. Unremarkable thin crust pizza(though they did have pineapple as a topping and we haven’t seen that everywhere) and a range of pasta dishes. I got the special – chicken and mushroom ravioli in a light white wine cream sauce. There’ wasn’t much sauce at all… seemed to be maybe a couple of tablespoons at the bottom of the dish with the ravioli piled on top. There wasn’t a lot of ravioli, either, for the price, and it was all stuck together. So yeah, I’ve had better.
