The Beehive is a really groovy spot amid all the Tex-Mex restos and noodle shops in the Cutty Sark area of Greenwich. Chelle R.‘s review says it all save for java. Unfortunately, they no longer have a café component to their hive. Web information would have one believe that coffee’s still a-brewin’ down there, so, yesterday, I phoned them and asked after coffee. The person who answered the phone very nicely told me that they’d not served coffee at the Beehive a in a couple of years. Let me repeat: NOCOFFEE at Beehive. Ah, well…

Calling all retro/vintage lovers in the Greenwich area! Why not drop by The Beehive? A small retro/vintage shop, located on Creek Street. Four traders all rolled into one. They sell 1950’s, 1960’s and 1970’s collectible for your home, wardrobe and vinyl player(yay for the retro music). Love the retro décor and the warm atmosphere. House keeping is spot clean and it’s not so busy. Customer service 10⁄10

The Beehive building is home to four retro consignments in an awfully small space — Calneva(modern home collectables), Oli Vintage and Retro clothing, Casbah Records and London Coffee Roasters. Though marked up as four individual businesses, it is essentially one shop owned by a group of like-minded friends which works quite well– when I went in today there were people chatting over coffee whilst looking through old vinyls. It is however, not a space to hang out leisurely in groups, which is what I think they might have intended. As lovely as it is, it is very cramped.
