I like this Starbucks a lot.
Reasons:
— great location, steps from the ship Cutty Sark, same name DLR station, not least close to my place;
— nice atmosphere;
— nice music;
— nice selection of sweets and paninis;
— lots of seating, but sadly no armchairs;
— free wifi, not really efficient though;
— generally very nice and friendly staff;
— open till late, at least 11 pm. At least during summer time.
The lemon poppy seed muffin is something great, as well as the cinnamon roll: soft brioche rolled with cinnamon, raisins, pieces of orange and a very small line of frosting; the equilibrium of the ingredients is so good that the result is an awesom treat, to have along with a cup of coffee.
Great add to the neighborhood.

Some mornings I just need something warm to finish my walk to university, and this is where I normally stop off. Some mornings my drink is great and some mornings it’s not so great. Staff are always lovely, but I just think that some of them don’t care how they make your drink.

Un joli Starbucks, dans une jolie petite maison de centre ville, avec des petits coins cosy, ça change des grands espaces carrés de centres commerciaux. Il y a probablement des endroits plus «authentiques» dans ce quartier touristique (un oxymore, peut-​être ?) mais en descendant du bateau (à touristes…), j’avais besoin de boire quelque chose, de grignoter quelque chose et de toilettes, et ce Starbucks a largement rempli le contrat, agréablement en plus.

Starbucks just across the street from Cutty Sark DLR. Not the best organized staff I’ve seen, or maybe I just caught them on a bad day. They had to repeat a couple of orders that were wrong and some folks got free drinks.
This place is laid out like a capital letter C. Wide in the front and in the back, but narrow along the side. Of course, that’s where everyone bunches up to get their drinks. Otherwise, standard layout as in all UK Starbucks. Plenty of tables and chairs with free-​wifi and power outlets.
Coolers full of drinks and pastries and sandwiches.
Street parking, no tables outside at this location.

Greenwich est un beau quartier de Londres avec un tas d’activités, mais quand il pleut, quand il fait froid, Starbucks est un des seuls cafés où on peut s’asseoir et né pas être obligé de manger. Le problème, c’est l’équipage qui né connaît pas la différence entre un cappuccino et un latte. Après le premier effort, j’ai échangé une boisson très laiteuse et presque sans café pour une autre, mais après le deuxième, je l’ai lassée sur la table. La prochaine fois je vais choisir un Américano.

Great little branch of Starbucks as there’s room in the back with the comfy chairs for buggys — however there are steps up so it’s hard to get in the door! Toilets are grim however. nowhere to change nappies.
