What! I love Bibimbap. And I love wraps. So I had a feeling that I was going to love this. And I was right. This thing is amazing. A layer of crispy rice and then all the veggies and meat. And I mean ALL of it. This thing is huge and it’s so hard to eat in any way that does not involve mess. So don’t even try. Go for the mess, make a mess, eat all the things, be happy. It is an insane queue, especially at lunch, so you will wait for it. But it is worth the wait. I got the beef one and I was happy all dau.

That Babimbap Beef Steak wrap is just awesome comparing to all burritos, kebabs, thai and indian food served on Whitecross market. The other food stands are good as well, but this definitely stands out, because is the most healthy type of food you can buy there(unless you want to buy box of salad :)). I should make a pic but ate it already :) I gave 5 stars as it won in my stomach after trying almost all foods from that market. It costs £7(beef steak)(where most of the places are £5−6) but definitely worth it if you are bored of usual cheap chicken stuff). I got it twice already, will be back for sure!

A relatively new stall on Whitecross Street serving(as you’d imagine) — Bibimbap wraps! And bubble tea. There are several selections of wrap: steak, bulgogi turkey(will go back to try that), vegan, etc. We popped in here after our Salad Kitchen plans were foiled(burst pipe!) — this stall is usually right across the street from SK, so here we go. The cute hand drawn menu drew me in, as did the smell of bulgogi… mmmmm. The good: Fresh wraps! Interesting composition! Big! Huge portion of the steak wrap… it felt like a burrito. 7.50 might seem steep but the quality of the meat was high and it was made fresh right in front of us. Very good value. The maybe-not-so-good: The ingredients are wrapped in nori(seaweed paper and then wrapped in actual paper. Unfortunately, they are super messy to eat, unless there is some trick I am unaware of. Foil might be a better choice? I don’t know but ish was everywhere, I was glad to be with a close colleague and not with those I would need to look proper in front of! The bubble tea– meh. It was just sitting up on the counter(I thought it would be made fresh and these were just an example set of teas) — and I don’t know about you, but I don’t really want milk tea that’s been sitting for a long period of time, you know? Plus they mixed boba with the jelly balls, I hate the jelly balls. I wanted all boba. This is a pretty big thing with bubble tea — so I basically didn’t like mine at all. I would skip it next time return. Overall, a solid little spot — sans the old bubble tea. The wraps are nice, I’d love an option to get the ingredients on a salad or in a bento box type thing, for ease of eating. But the goods are fresh, and that’s the most important thing. *open with weekday lunchtime market. *cash only.

A relatively new addition to the Whitecross food scene– a pretty pared back choice of food(three types of nori ‘n rice wrap, two veggie and one steak), and a small selection of drinks. Service is a bit ponderous, but quality is very good. Most expensive choice is the steak wrap, at £7.50.
