I’ve wanted to try this place a bunch, but sadly I can’t. Twice, and I mean twice, they have closed before the closing hours. We walked into the space and they went, «Nope, we’re closed,» despite the door being open and the hours saying they were open. So kind of a fail. And then yesterday, when we did finally get to try them, they had run out of tapioca balls — or the bubbles in bubble tea. They told me they were making more, but it will take 20 minutes. How do you run out of bubbles in a bubble tea shop? What? Also, they couldn’t give me a VAT receipt for no reason whatsoever. They just said they don’t do receipts. Ok. However, the bubble tea we got did speak for itself, it was rich and flavourful and went down really easily and the popping boba they had as a substitute was nice. So I can see why this place does have some great reviews, I’ve just been burned by the service a lot sadly.

I was looking for a nice spot to work in. There was plenty of room, tables, outlets, free wifi, super nice people and really delicious tea(I had the mango milk).

Its quite easy to walk right pass Brew Box. Its in the basement level and you gotta pay attention to the small window next to your feet. The space is compact but still have group seating area as well as a wall bar area for solo working bees. The milk teas are not the authentic Taiwanese kind, but if you like the strong tea taste & more watered down milky texture(more refreshing I would say), then this is the place for you. It’s just not quite the way I like it. The boba was decently chewy as well. They have a machine that shakes the tea for you instead of by hand! They offer a variety of mochi flavors too, should definitely try those when it gets warmer.

I have mixed feelings about writing this — I both want more people to know about this secret place, and I also detest the idea of having my usual hangout infiltrated with riff-raff. :) The things I do for the greater good! Honestly, one of my favourite cafes in London. The staff are wonderful, warm people who really look after the place and love their jobs. The bubble tea is great, as is the smoothies and steeped teas selection. They sell Rinkoff’s cronuts every day, which makes for a delicious accompaniment if you’ve got a sweet tooth. It’s a small venue but very cosy and comes complete with board games to boot! Be it Connect Four, Jenga, chess or Battleship — I’m often keen to kill some time in this little hideaway! The mango milk tea is delicious btw, 10⁄10 would recommend.

C’ETAITDIVIIIIIIN !!! Le bubble tea a tomber: 5 choix de billes(tapioca, mago jelly, strawberry jelly etc…) so cool ! Petite adresse sympa dans Londres !

The guys here make bubble tea, but they make for some great company on any day that you wanna chill. It’s a special spot. As a foreigner, i’d rather go to brew box than ride on the London Eye. It’s that dope. If I could, i would’ve teleported them with me to NY Get the citrus zen with mango jelly!

As an Asian Californian who had been abroad for the last 3 months, I just wanted some authentic bubble tea! Thankfully, I bumped into Brew Box. Their matcha milk tea is the perfectly sweetened, and I love how it’s chilled without ice cubes, which makes drinking the tapioca pearls easier. The pearls are awesome — not too chewy with just enough flavor. Fantastic! I also had the jasmine milk tea with the popping lychee pearls. This was pretty good as well, though not as mind blowing as the matcha.(However, matcha is my usual flavor of choice, so I’m biased.) There’s an «emptiness» in popping pearls that makes me prefer the tapioca pearls, so I would recommend that instead. Overall, I love Brew Box. I wish the dollar to pound conversion wasn’t so poor, or else I would stop by here for a drink every day of my vacation!

Found my new favourite place for fruit bubble tea. There are now tons of places around London to get good bubble tea but this is the first place I’ve seen that has all my favourite fruit tea AND milk tea flavours: lychee, watermelon, red bean, and mango milk tea. I was really tempted to get the mango milk tea or the watermelon because I rarely see them offered but for a first try I decided on lychee with pearls. My boyfriend got jasmine milk tea also with pearls. The lychee turned out to be sweet, flavourful, and delicious! The pearls are mostly soft with a bit of chewiness and tiny compared to other places which I actually prefer because they were really easy to get through the straw and eat. Unfortunately something went terribly wrong with my boyfriend’s jasmine milk tea. At first I thought it was just a sugar issue but after sipping it for a while I think the tea maybe wasn’t brewed correctly. It was very bitter. I would not recommend getting the jasmine tea, get a fruit tea instead. As for the location, I think the basement set up is cozy. It looks very small from the outside but is actually quite spacious with lots of places to sit. And it’s laptop friendly as I found two sockets and they have free wifi; could make for a cool place to get some work done while enjoying some good bubble tea.

So good! The atmosphere is laid back, warm and welcoming. The music is amazing and the two owners are cool with you sitting(for hours) and hanging out, reading, using the wifi, etc. I’m from Los Angeles and have been searching for a good bubble tea(I call it Boba) place since I moved here! Their selections are really good and they take suggestions if there are flavors that you don’t see but would like to try! The locations is great too but very easy to miss so keep your eyes open for the sign pointing downstairs to the shop. I took 8 of my friends there and they all loved it! Visit them, like them, share them! This business has a lot of potential and is just getting things started.

Would give them a 3.5 star but I didn’t find this place too exciting to begin with. Tucked under a basement Brew Box kind of reminds me of a Yumchaa-esque bubble tea place with a variation of milk tea, fresh tea and fruit tea choices. Fairly priced, not cheap of course, starting around 3.50 if that was correct. A little doubtful when the waiter told me that the milk they use in milk teas are made from powder… and was diary free. mmmmmm. They have a few kinds of toppings as for bubble teas other than tapioca pearls and coconut jelly. Overall, new place, nothing special, a bit watered down, but hopefully they’ll get the gist of it and start getting better.

I recently moved to London from Seattle and was starting to miss the comforts of home. Good Asian food has been hard to find, so I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the sign for Brew Box. Let me tell you, this stuff is legit. It tastes just as good as the stuff I can get in Seattle, maybe even a little better. The flavors are great and the bobas are perfect too. My favorites are the classic taro with tapioca and the strawberry mango with lychee pearls. The owners are super nice, helpful and friendly as well.
