Brixton Farmers Market

…and then it got better. Just. keeps. getting. better.

Oh my goodness, I am so happy I could burst!
«Why?» I hear you cry, because I have just been down to Brixton’s super Sunday Farmers Market.
It’s pretty small but some how they have managed to pack in all the essentials from breads and cakes to meats and veg — put it this way, you can pick up everything you need for an entire Sunday’s feed — cooked breakfast, roast dinner, pud the works!
Everybody is very friendly and all in all it was such an enjoyable experience that i) I had to phone a friend to share the news ii) I am typing this review while eating my freshly purchased organic lunch!
I picked up: — a bag of carrots, a bag of baby spinach, 6 apples, 5 beef burger, 5 potatoes, 4 leeks, 2 green things, 1 cauliflower and a partridge in a pear tree (ok not the partridge), but the rest all came to £11.90! Happy days.
*I’d like it to be noted in print that I was able to resist the temptation of lime and coconut cake, but only just, it’s sooooo good.
