Love love the food. Although I find the portions a bit too small and there is always room for more. Absolutely love the starters. Non alcoholic drink selection could be better.

Tasty pad Thai and papaya salad. I ordered prawn crackers as well but these didn’t come through. The waiter did ask if I still wanted them, but I had already finished my starter so wasn’t interested. Pad Thai is of a higher quality than most Thai places I have been to in London. Portion is relatively small however. Papaya salad was well dressed and fresh tasting. Just the right amount of sweetness, saltiness and sourness. Just how all Thai meals should balance flavours.

I really like the noodles. they need to bring back the morning glory on the menu! drinks are good but tiny. there is a possibility you will be sharing a table with someone.

Delicious food, great service. Vasillis and the front desk were very accommodating, and all the food came out in good order. Definitely try the Duck Cinnamon dish, chicken satay, and the ginger beef. Seating could be better, as it is hard to conversations in groups of 4 without yelling across the table, when one has to split a large table with several other groups.

I had left it very late to book somewhere for New Years Eve. As we were going to see Star Wars at Westfield, eating here seemed sensible. The restaurant web site has an online booking programme and I was slightly surpised to find I could book right through NYE. I booked for 8.15 but when we arrived we were promptly told the place«closed» at 9! This required frantic ordering and then even more frantic chewing to ensure we met the deadline. «Starters» came at the same time as mains to ensure we got the hell out of Dodge in time. I was slightly miffed therefore as we were nursing gastric reflux from the speed of eating, I was a little perturbed to discover two people enter at 5 to 9 and order! By 9 the place was still packed. What the waiter should have said was the kitchen closed at 9. Perhaps I’m guilty for not realising. Anyway, certainly negative marks for the fact the online booking facility was not attuned to NYE and made no mention of closing early(I was told the web site did mention this, but I didn’t spot it). I was thinking of booking for 8.45 which would have been insane. Ok, sorry for the long diatribe on that. The food was… ok. We had: Soft shelled crab fish cakes Green curry Pad Thai The crab was slightly different to how I have had it before and lacked the peppery tartness in the covering. Fish cakes were ok but nothing special. The green curry came as a pool of green, with not much in the way of discernable contents-I had to stir round to discover small bits of chicken and some sweet corn. It wasn’t horrid but was far from the best I’d had. With two Singha and no desert the bill came to £51-certainly nothing to complain of for that area, however, I didn’t feel the food was much better than average… though I was eating at a rate of knots!

Decent thai food for a mall place. The monk fish was the best, so was the guava lemongrass drink. They have community tables(like Wagamama)

The food was good(thought I must say I have better Thai food in the US) I also like their décor and atmosphere! We had duck curry(a bit salty thought good flavor), crab fried rice, papaya salad(not spicy at all).

Busaba Eathai is one of my favourite restaurants in Shepherds Bush. It’s a chain, sure, but one that does the basics right — better than right even. The dishes here are consistently excellent and the service prompt, friendly and professional. Most of the menu is Thai food but I welcome the recent appearance of Beavertown’s Gamma Ray IPA, a strong, US-inspired IPA that is a perfect match for the spicier dishes here. The interior is simple and in tune with the other branches: low hanging lights, plenty of wood and large communal tables. It all just works.

I love thai food and this is a nice small chain around london. Right now for jan they are offering 50% off the food bill which is a great deal. I think their soups are just ok but both their Pad Thai’s are great ! The pandan chicken starter was not to exciting. The Thai calamari was ok but nothing amazing despite people raving about their calamari I found it boring. The Songkhla red curry with slow cooked beef £10.90 is great and the beef melts in your mouth. The Ginger beef has a wonderful taste plus I love the wood ear mushrooms in it! Spicy Green Papaya salad is spicy and delicious I do feel that paying £10 for a curry it should come with rice but no you have to pay another £3 for rice which I find cheeky. This place is a few pounds to expensive. They should shave a pound of each dish. I’m giving them four stars because I feel that they are being very generous with this 50% discount plus I like the décor along with their food being better then average but not the best thai ever. They do have a few strong dishes but equally they do have a few disappointing dishes plus no dessert! As a company they could profit buy offering desserts instead they offer an over price tea with two tiny but pleasant coconut cashew cookies.

This Thai restaurant is a great place to stop by. It is quite busy at most times but nonetheless it is worth it. in terms of service; it is not up there. It maybe due to the fact that it is quite busy. But the taste of the food does compensate. The thai style calamari side is a must try and is a definite choice whenever I do visit with my husband. With any curry; the coconut rice is wonderful. Overall good food. Mediocre Service. You will go back for the food.

The service is not really good, they don’t seem to give you much of attention, I have to go look for somebody to get my order all the time the waiter didn’t went to check on my table even once. At least he asked me if I had enjoy it at the end. The place is nice, I like the ambiance and the decoration is very friendly and the food was very good! I got the Chicken satay salad and I’ve enjoyed it and I would definitely have it again! :)) Very tasty and not very spicy

We had a very enjoyable dinner. The food was good as was the service despite the place being extremely busy. The atmosphere was also quite nice albeit a bit too loud.

I have not had good fortune in finding good Asian cuisine in London(le sigh), but Busaba Eathai is the best Thai restaurant that I’ve found so far. I like the earthy décor and relaxed vibe of this always bustling restaurant. There are about 10 family style square wooden tables that can seat 8 – 12 people. My friend and I sat at one of the tables for two that face the outdoor concourse that runs past all of the restaurants. Hello, people watching lol. Like other reviewers noted, the service is incredibly fast. This particular branch is always packed because it’s at the mall, but I was seated within 5 minutes of arrival. My friend and I both ordered the pad kwetio, a stir fry with wide egg noodles, chicken, shrimp, egg, and lots of veggies. It was SO good. My only complaint is the size of the cocktails and the juices. I ordered a guava bellini and I swear there wasn’t any alcohol in it. To add insult to injury, the serving size was tiny compared to the mixed juices. On top of that, it was incredibly overpriced! I’ll definitely return to Busaba Eathai, but I won’t order a cocktail ever again.

I was disappointed. We ordered a chicken/mango Pad Thai and a coconut prawn with coconut rice. Not only did we get served the wrong food once(vegetarian pad thai); but, we got the wrong food twice and then other people around us got the food we ordered. Then, they didn’t get their orders. We had to chase down a server to let them know we had a problem each time. It ended up being very late by the time we got to eat. The people next to us still hadn’t gotten their food when we got ours and they had ordered before us. I thought they should have been given their food for free. When we finally got the food, it was not impressive. Pad Thai was nearly tasteless and the coconut prawns were lacking many prawns at all. I have eaten alot of Pad Thai but this was not very good. Sadly, we will not be returning.

Ate here twice. Not this location twice, but at the restaurant twice. Ate at this location once with my mom and friend. Lovely dark wood décor with incense and candles burning. Big tables that you share with strangers when the place gets busy. Very nice bathrooms. Both times, everyone enjoyed their food. It’s commercial Thai food(maybe even Asian fusion). Not very spicy and very accessible dishes. So it’s not a down home«authentic» place, but it’s good and reliable. We had: Crab Fried Rice, Ginger Beef, Coconut Rice, Sticky Rice, Leaf Wrapped Chicken, Spicy Grilled Chicken, Spicy Grilled Steak, Ginger and Honey Tea, Lemon Ginger Iced Tea. It was ALL good. NO complaints whatsoever. I like my food very spicy, and would have given them a 5 if the food had more kick. Also, they are slightly overpriced. Decent service.

I used to be part of the long queues outside the Wardour Street branch and have also visited the one behind Heal’s on Tottenham Court Road on more than one occasion, therefore thrilled to see one pop up at Westfield. I am no expert on Asian food but have never been disappointed, and this latest visit was no exception. The location at Westfield is well suited — this is not the place you come to for authenticity, but rather reliable quality and service and value for money prices. The décor is a lot nicer than that of Wagamama and other chains nearby — you almost forget you are dining next door to a massive shopping complex. Both food and drinks menu are imaginative and varied.
