Not really surprised to see no stars next to this name. I am gutted as to how this ‘café’ managed to get a space in the very centre of London. I happened to stop by before meeting my friends at the nearby cinema. The food was really substandard. The pizza on display looks tempting but it does end with looks only. Taste wise it neither tasted nor smelled like a pizza. I was served a piece of dough with chicken and mushroom that tasted as if they were boiled rather than baked. With some poor looking salad on the side. I was hungry though so I ate it. To make things really bad they let me order and consume the meal without pointing out that their card machine did not work that day and insisting I leave my ID when going to the nearest cash machine to bring cash. Initially it was claimed that they don’t take card payments at all which turned out to be a lie. It took me quite a while to have someone go with me to get the cash without having to leave my ID but the embarrassment was already caused as it looked as if I was trying to avoid paying a £7 something bill. The evening with friends has almost been spoiled as well. And it’s all because the staff could not think outside the box in a challenging situation.
