Nice restaurant which opens out into a nice space. Came on a Sunday afternoon and wasn’t too busy but the was a large party at the back of the restaurant. Standard tables and booths mate this a great space. Bright and interesting décor with grass pictures in the walls and cloud lamp shades. On with the food. Started well with chicken wings crispy juicy … Yums. Then Tempura Pork Belly, good bit of meat, would have been nice with a bit or crunch in the crackling or roast port style. Much like a Chinese sweet sour pork ball as the batter wasn’t light as tempura should be. I went for the the TAPADECUADRIL, 220g Cut from the top of the rump, apparently this signature dish is served the Brazilian way — thinly sliced and flash grilled so it melts in your mouth. Looked a bit like bacon to me beef style. Was very good and an interesting cut. However they were out of the classic chimichurri when for the green instead, which kinda lacked a kick. Triple cooked chips were ok, tad dry than opposed to crispy maybe a little too chunky. The grilled salmon was cooked well, lacked seasoning however the accompanying greens were way too lemony … Way too much! Dessert was a bit disappointing, as the brownie was dry than opposed to moist and gooey. Overall service was fine, décor was Coke but the food was a bit hit and miss

We were there at 11:30 on Sunday and we have been there a few times before and enjoyed their food. Yet this time we were greeted with very rude service. The restaurant was half empty and the host said they couldn’t serve our brunch for another 30 mins to make sure everyone gets their meals. We looked around and 3 other tables had food on their tables. They also declined 2 other families that walked in with us. Very strange service and we are not going back again. Much better and nicer places to eat in Wimbledon Village!

After a lovely autumnal walk around Wimbledon common we randomly chose this place for lunch, and WOW am I glad we did! Everything as great from start to finish. I’m very fussy with my chips, and I can safely say these are the best I’ve had in London. The cheese & bacon burger was also great — perfectly cooked and full of flavour. It was one of those places where I left almost too full to walk, but it was so worth it. I will definitely come back here & would highly recommend. My only teeny grumble would be that my cocktail(White Peach Bellini) was only two thirds full — given that it was in a champagne glass that didn’t leave me with much, but what I did have was delicious!

We went into CAU to have a steak on a Sunday afternoon. The place was busy with families and kids as it happened to be Mother’s Day. The waiters were friendly and helpful giving advice on wine and steak selection. The food came quickly although the restaurant was pretty packed. For the starter we had Yerba-smoked beef in soy and wasabi dressing, which personally was my favourite of all dishes that night. The beef was cut thin and tender which made it taste delicious. We also took spicy gambas skewers with a chipotle dip, and it came with a little lemon water plate useful after one may have enjoyed digging into gambas with his fingers. For the main dish we decided to go for Tira de Ancho steak 500g which is good for sharing between two. We had it medium rare and it tasted quite tender and received recognition from my fellow Argentinian who said the taste resembled him home. The steak came with the special chimichurri sauce, but was not as spicy as the authentic chimichurri would be. For the dessert we had a typical Argentinian style dulce de leche ice cream which was very satisfying. We also took their evening Mother’s day special dessert lemon custard but is tasted too sweet, even sweeter than dulce de leche ice cream! All in all it was an enjoyable experience. We left satisfied with delicious food, friendly staff, good service and lovely atmosphere.
