This is a nice place to stop if you’re following the capital ring walking route!(you can get an idea of this section of the walk here: — it involves lots of time wandering along the river Lea) We popped in to warm up. My smoothie was gorgeous and my friends seemed to enjoy their coffees. My husband had a muffin that was filled with butter-icing, it was moist and delicious. I tried a pastel de nata which was okay — I’ve had much, much better versions… The other food I saw zooming out from the kitchen looked lovely. If I lived near here I’m sure I’d come back pretty often.

Super tasty food, great menu, good coffee and fab salted caramel brownies! I have always been able to easily get a seat and it has a winning view of the Olympic stadium.

Possibly the best use of a shipping container ever. After a stroll along the greenway the bacon baguettes just about hit the spot

A little cosy gem in the middle of Hackney Wick. After spending a day in the odd(odd in a good way) area this café put my existence back on the map. The décor is very after school Scandinavian canteen, the Italian cappuccino and panini very delicious(feta cheese, watercress, roasted pepper…)the whole experience very Hackney Wick, odd, in a good way.
