nette bedienung, sauber und auch guter — wenn auch starker — kaffee. preis moderat, süßspeisen gibt es auch, wurden aber nicht probiert. hat summa summarum einen guten eindruck hinterlassen.

Very friendly staff. Standard Costa Coffee fare. This is a convenient place to grab a coffee or a quick bite before picking up groceries in the area(marks & spencer, sainsbury, spar, cost cutter etc) They were even obliging enough to provide me an entire cake at one day’s notice — when most of the bakeries in the area needed 5 – 10 days advance booking Love their current special — morello cherry and vanilla cake

When I want flavours with my hot chocolates its Costa I go to! Mmmmm mmmm mmmmmm. They don’t taste artificial which is a plus and the staff are always pleasant!

All and all a nice Costa, with lots of sitting near the windows and enjoyable atmosphere. Service is mostly good, though on occasion the quality of the drinks has been sub par… Could have been a trainee botching up their signature hot chocolate though…

Best place to go for a coffee reading your newspaper or magazine Sometimes they have live music Other times it’s just the music and mix of people’s voices in different languages. My weekend’s evening place Definitely recommend it. Wish they were offering different coffee beans every now and then

For an evil, soulless chain, this location is quite good! The staff are always chatty and helpful. If you have any requests, they’re accommodating. There always seem to be a good seat to read your book in, and if you get a window seat you can watch the world on Queensway. It has the standard selection of Costa products so you know what you’re getting. All in all, I quite enjoy this place!

Of course, I had to try the local coffee chain whilst in London. I am a coffee fanatic. I enjoyed this location(there is a mall and many shops right by). It wasn’t overly crowded, and the seating area looked nice, however, I didn’t want to pay the extra fee to enjoy my iced coffee in the store. I found that very interesting and saw it in many places throughout London– there’s an extra fee to eat in the restaurant. I guess there’s a huge overcrowding problem so I can understand it. To be honest, this place reminded me of Starbucks. Same items offered, same store layout, similar prices. Not that it’s a bad thing, but it didn’t have a wholly unique feel to it like the chain I went to in Denmark(Baresso’s). I went a couple of times whilst in London and was never disappointed with my drink. The employees were friendly and didn’t even snicker at my Boston accent so that’s a bonus! And, the coffee was stronger than what they serve in the states. I noticed that throughout my trip to Europe and I wish we offered similarly strong coffee in stores in the US.

Great lattes & friendly staff. As I mentioned previously, Costa Coffee is the #1 coffee chain in the UK and I can see why.

Two words… Flat White. Something we could use in the states. While this is written for the Bayswater location, this review goes for any Costa that serves the Flat White.
