Worst experience possible! I would have called this comical, if the remedial actions of management hadn’t been so utterly spurious. Waiter hardly spoke English. Even basic things like understanding we wanted our steaks«rare». Menu was not as advertised on website(which had great branding and compelling food offering as «crib de rib” — has now been taken over by Lebanese management who are clearly not aligned to the former proposition or food) We were told by management(in person, face to face) they would not charge us corkage if we brought our own bottle of wine. Waitress had no knowledge of the menu(couldn’t tell us what the steak was served with). Honestly, either it’s served with chips, or it’s not?! Mushroom sauce served with steaks was clearly microwaved from a packet. Scolding hot and disgusting. Bill arrived– we were charged corkage. £15. Even after arguing with mgmt, they refused to compromise. Would have rather saved our bottle and ordered by the glass! Would have been cheaper!?! Avoid at all costs.

A walk from the V&A and we truly enjoyed our 3course lunch. Not very crowded, but the service was good. The food was pretty good and the chocolate cheesecake was out standing. Would seek it out again.

The way I would describe this restaurant is average(at best). Don’t get me wrong, the pork ribs I had were great(taste looks etc.), however, the whole experience around the meal was average leaning towards unsatisfactory. First, the waiter and the service was… weird. The guy took my coat and then put it on a sofa a couple of tables away(?!) then when he was going through the menu he was not really helpful at all. Second, when I attempted to use a voucher I bought through Unilocal, the manager was called because the waiter did not recognise it at all. All well and good, until the manager said«he has never seen such a thing in his life. Fine, I guess there might have been some miscommunication between Unilocal and the venue. However, when I proceeded to pay with Amex, I was told that they do not accept this payment method, which is absolutely shocking, given both the price range of this place and the fact that it is in the middle of Kensington. All and all, I would avoid this place in the future.

Came here for lunch. Very nice atmosphere. The restaurant has a very spacious feel with high end interiors. Great location on Glpucester road. We ordered the chilli squid and georgian bread to start. The squid was in a light batter and tasted very fresh and came woth a zangy homemade sweet chilli sauce. The georgian bread was stuffed with creamy feta cheese and grilled to perfection. For the main we ordered the fillet steak which came with triple fat cooked chips ans the beef rib. Absolutely delicpus and melt in the mputh My only complaint was that the chips were not as good as I thought thry wpuld be. They were french fries style which I dont think workds woth the rustic menu. I would have preferred to a chunky steak cut chip whi takes on the flavour of the triple process. Very friendly staff. A little quiet with inly a few in the restaurant when we were dining. All in all I would recommend.

A lovely environment with decent food at a fair price, especially with a deal. Would recommend to give it a try. The Georgian leavened bread with cheese is amazing.

Great food and service. Had beef ribs(tasty!), asparagus and Quail egg salad(surprisingly good with tons of green leaves and sesame). Creamed spinach was so so. Super friendly and responsive staff.

Solid ribs, cozy ambience and great service — all situated in a beautiful neighbourhood. I ordered the honey pork ribs, which was good. I did feel that it became a little too sweet toward the end, but perhaps, that was because I generally prefer spicy/salty to sweet. We ordered chips on the side which was good, but I did hope it were crunchier. Interestingly enough, the highlight of the meal was the squid starter for me. The squid was really soft and fresh, and the sauce that accompanied it was just perfect. The restaurant reminded me of a homey Spanish tapas type of place. It had a Spanish/Latin aura to it which I really liked. Service was great — the owner was particularly chirpy and kind. If I lived in the neighbourhood, I would have liked to bring my family and friends here. Overall, a solid place — at a great value if you have Taste Card too!

I can’t say enough good things about this place. Such good service, great food, slightly bipolar music but overall a five star experience. The cheese plate is see-through-time good. The wine list was phenomenal. Just ask the matre de about the individual elements… I wasn’t too sure about the watery lemon soup between courses.
