Went one sat night and was not impressed. We were seated in the very quiet restaurant and given menus. So far so good, then it was 10 mins before a waitress could tear herself away from chatting with the manageress to take a drink order. Another 10 mins elapsed during which a family came in, sat down and had their order taken. When the waitress finally came to take our food order I asked if I could have a smaller pasta portion from the mains to start and was told«no» decided to leave cross the road and have a curry. Delicious sell themselves as one of these«family run homely places» I have received much warmer service in the local McDonalds!

This is a cosy and authentic Italian joint a 1 minute walk away from Kentish Town station, if you turn right out of the station and follow the high road. The staff were nice and friendly(and definitely Italian). We shared a pizza for the main, which was thin, and with not too much crust, which is how I like it. I would’ve liked a few more vegetarian options on the menu, but a) it’s an Italian place! and b) we ended up customising a pizza based on a menu option and they were very accommodating, so it didn’t matter in the end. The desserts were really special — we shared two things, the nutella baked bread(see photo) and a vanilla ice cream mixed with cherry liqueur. Both delicious and original. There were lots of nice little touches to the place — mint sprig in the water jug, the pizza coming in half and on two dishes because they knew we were sharing it, and just the level of attention given to the presentation of the desserts.
