Either a family place or for that special someone. In any case, excellent food. I would say better that noura however, a bit more ‘uptight’ ambiance.

There were many things wrong during my visit. I never got part of the set menu. In addition, while being served they simply exchanged part of the set menu to different dish and at the end billed different(more expensive) meal. Everything happened without any ‘sorry’ and they even tried to bill a service charge. Also, I was ignored for more than 45 minutes… Can’t recommend.

The good IT’S INLONDON! Across from Green Park It’s Lebanese… hookah’s and pillows and candles and Mezze!!! Hommos, tabouli, falafel, makanek, warak, enab… all of it exceptionally yummy Friendly service Ambiance…WAIT, strike that… see below The not so good We were seated in kind of a side area where we could observe the exceptionally comfy looking pillows and couch which was not fully seated btw. The lighting when we got there at 9PM made the place look like a cafeteria. NOT what you’d expect in a Lebanese restaurant. Around 11PM, they dimmed the lights… WTF? Next time I’m in London… I’m going for five stars… someone dim the damned lights next time.

Excellent food with an elegant ambience which is not overdone. Great service. Loved the Lebanese wine, which was reasonably priced and comparable to wines from other better known regions of world. Nice spot for a date or for meeting up with another couple for dinner.

Good food & a great location(try to get a table by the window looking across to the park) but so so pricey for what they serve. If food is key, go to Ishbilia or Maroush.

I beg you not to go to this restaurantwhy are they still operating? Check out the horrible reviews on:
here are my two pennies worth: What a pretentious place that is far too overpriced for what it is! A prime example of paying for the location instead of good, honest food. The food was so mediocre that it hurts you thinking that you can get better food at nearby Edgware Road for a third of the price with more ambience and authenticity. Stay well away from this place unless it’s more important for you to be seen than eat good food.

very disappointed with this this establishment. we went on a sun early evening. The view was lovely but the service was not very good. The staff seemed very offish and not one smile amongst them. the food was ok, i have had better lebanese closer to home. The major question i have is how can they justify charging £4 for a coke?

Not a place I’d normally choose to dine at, but I bought the GroupOn deal months ago and it was due to expire, so here goes… Excellent location that overlooks Green Park. Greeted at coatcheck and then up the stairs to our table. The waitress sounded rushed and advised us that we only have 1.5 hrs to eat before the next dinner seating. Thanks, will keep that in mind. Took ages to be served, in fact we had to ask the bartender but he couldn’t speak English and 10 mins later an English speaking waiter arrived. Not exactly packed and we counted 8 staff wandering around the restaurant(10 if you include the randoms in tracksuits hovering around the kitchen door). We ordered entrees which arrived in a good time and the falafel was delish! However, as soon as I picked up the last piece, the waitress removed the plate(I didn’t even get the chance to put it on my own serving plate). Short of dishes maybe? This continued throughout the night and was borderline rude. Drinks were good/average. The mint lemonade is amazing, full of minty goodness! The shark bite was mainly iced cordial. Mains were so so. The Kibbe Labanieh was a little too white and I’m guessing that’s what it’s supposed to look like? But for a modern lebanese restaurant, I expected the chef to check the colour of the whole plate before it went out. The lamb aubergine fatteh was good — the bread gave it a good crunchy texture. Evening wrapped up with a trip to the loo — one toilet not working and the other was in desperate need of a clean. For a restaurant that charges £18−25 for it’s mains — not impressed at all. McD’s can get away that kind of service but not this joint. So yeh, sadly I won’t be returning but I’m glad I gave it a go! Would have been really disappointed if I didn’t have the GroupOn special!

This is my favourite Lebanese restaurant in London. The food is consistently great and the atmosphere welcoming.

One of the nice things about Fakhreldine has to be the view overseeing the park. It certainly provides good doses of calm to fully enjoy the Dinning experience. Yes, it is quite pricey, but the quality of the food and drinks are exceptional. I had an unforgettable date juice. My girlfriend had a mint lemonade. The food was even better. Falafel and hummus were well nice. But the mains were just out of this world. It is impossible to have a conversation beyond the ummmm, awwww, nom nom, how do they do it?, ummmm, this is amazing, etc etc. We had kofta in Yogurt soup and lamb cutlets. But the bill does get a bit funny, so save it for a special occasion.

During one of my recent trips to London, my cousin invited me to dinner at this restaurant. I rather enjoyed the restaurant — the food is tasty and they have some unusual takes on traditional Lebanese cuisine. The prices are high; however, there are often ways to get a discount. The restaurant is located on Piccadilly street overlooking Green Park. The décor is contemporary and they are striving for a sleek modern look; however, «blingistan» sometimes enters into the decoration scheme. We were there on a Monday night, but the restaurant was pretty full. On weekends there is supposed to be belly dancing and the place can be quite loud. The food itself is quite tasty. Their pita bread is home made and comes out hot and fresh — very similar to Tandoori Roti in Indian cuisine. They have all of the usual takes on the Lebanese dishes — hummus, schwarma, etc. We ordered several mezas — including hummus, baba ganoush, grilled holoumi cheese and some kibi. All of it was well prepared and tasty. The baba ganoush was not as whipped as one usually finds it in the US, giving it a better eggplant taste. The Holoumi cheese was fresh and just grilled enough to bring out the flavour. We ordered a few main dishes — a couple of chicken dishes, an eggplant dish and cauliflower. The eggplant dish was particularly good — it was almost like an eggplant lasagna in which the layers were made with toasted pita bread and covered with stewed tomatoes and yogurt. The chicken dishes were mildly flavored and moist. Service was adequate. It took a little while for them to process the check at the table. The prices were pretty high; however, we used Open Table and received a 50% discount. There are other avenues to obtain a discount at this restaurant as well.

Went here last night for a mate’s leaving drinks. There’s a bar with some low slung table seating upstairs and a restaurant downstairs. It was happy hour when I got there with 2-for-1 cocktails. Lemme tell you, it wasn’t such a happy hour when my second drink came. My drink order was an old fashioned. Round one was made with Maker’s Mark, and was shaken, not slow stirred. The drink was half-way decent. When it came time for my free second round the bartender decided it was ok to make it with Canadian Club. I don’t think so. I sent the drink back and had it re-made with Maker’s Mark. It came back with the right bourbon, but tasted mostly of water. argh… After a few rounds of drinks a sub-group of 8 of us got a table downstairs for food. Two of my friends and myself shared 6 mezze and each had a main. The mezze were mediocre at best. My main of kefte was pretty good. Given the horrible bar experience and the unimpressive food this is definitely 2 star territory.

Sleek and sultry room serving tasty Lebanese food and interesting cocktails. The arakvod drink was wonderful, so nice I had a couple. The kofta were well seasoned and the other dishes were quite good too.

In London on business and happened into this place for dinner one night. Very sleek, modern, and contemporary interior. Portions are huge but I thought the meat(my chicken shawerma as well as my co-worker’s beef) could’ve been seasoned more thoroughly.

Despite it raining cats and dogs out, I decided to travel all the way to Mayfair to experience the restaurant I had read about online. When I finally made it inside, I wasn’t sure the soaking wet adventure was worth it. But my mind was quickly changed. Upon ordering a lunch special of kafta with hoummos and fattoush(2 skewers of minced lamb, onion, and parsley) for nine pounds fifty which also comes with a drink, I was immediately brought a plate of fresh vegetables including carrots, olives, and a whole tomato and a plate of flatbread. My meal was brought not much later and just the smell of the savory lamb was amazing. I was actually sad when the meal was over, and even considered how i’d look if i ordered more food(i decided against it though haha). The staff was very friendly and attentive which added to the great dining experience. My bill even came with a flier for a complimentary glass of wine with my next visit. And there definitely will be a next visit!

Nice lebanese restaurant in a also nice enviroment. Food is a bit pricey, but they accept the Tastelondon card, which gives you a 50% off the food bill. The restaurant itself is very beautiful, overlooking Green Park, with a nice atmosphere specially at night. Last time I was there, there was a belly dancer. I am not a big fan of having someone dancing around me while I am having dinner, but if you do… hey! you will enjoy it. Overall nice restaurant, nice food, but not worth it if you pay the full price of the bill as it can be expensive.

Meat is murder? Well, yes, but it’s also delicious. Sorry Morrissey. I went to Fakhreldine last night with high hopes of a seriously delicious Lebanese grill-fest, but left feeling a little underwhelmed. The restaurant overlooks Green Park, affording great views while you dine. The interior is pretty stunning, a central bar area serving cocktails whilst you wait to be seated at the more classic and elegant dining area. The staff were efficient and courteous, happy to explain the menu items and options. The first impression was great, but what about the food? We opted for the £35 set menu, which consisted of: 1. A glass of wine — lovely, tangy red. 2. An extremely fresh and delicious salad. Radishes were super crisp, carrots and cucumber likewise, olives to die for. 3. A mixture of 8 starters. These were a mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian; lamb sausages, mince lamb pastry, spinach and cheese pastry, hummus, tabouleh, grilled aubergine, falafel and something else that I cannot for the life of me remember. High points; again, the vegetables and herbs were lovely and fresh, the hummus and other classics were well prepared and flavoursome. Low points; the meat items weren’t freshly cooked, they were lukewarm. The flavour was still great, mind you. Then came the main course; mixed grill. I LOVE mixed grills. I was presented with a lamb chop and chicken, kofte and lamb on skewers, with a flatbread draped over them. The flavours were again good, but what the hell were they cooking them on? The meat was a tad dry and again only lukewarm. Seriously, I want my meat to be juicy and fresh from the flame, that’s the only way to honour it. After this anti-climax came fresh fruit and baklava, served with mint tea. Again, fruit was awesome and fresh, tea was nicely flavoured and a welcome aid to digesting the meat. The baklava was a little dry, I’m used to Yassar Hallim’s wonderfully oozing honey goodness, but these were still rather nice. The date pastry was especially lovely. What sprang to mind most was that you can go to any restaurant on Green Lanes, and sample grilled meat which is freshly cooked, served hot and well marinaded, for a quarter of the cost of this place. In comparison to some of the fantastic yet less fancy places, Fakhreldine seemed to be trying to make up in style what it lacked in flavour. I didn’t try the a la carte menu, I have a suspicion that the problems with freshness of grilling is probably specific to the set menu Overall, sure, the presentation is great, but without attention to the most important thing, the food, who cares? A little damning, I think, but I really do think that a little more effort in this regard would make what was a nice evening into something exceptional.

Had a good lunch here recently with lovely salads, flat breads, haloumi and nicely marinated meat. Was quite pricey but we got a deal through Top Table. Very attentive waiters and tried some nice Lebanese wine. Lovely complimentary baklava to finish. Worth checking out.

This restaurant is on the first floor opposite Green Park which means it has wonderful views You come in to a large bar area with comfy sofas perfect for a pre dinner drink The actual dining area is very sleek. The service is attentive and quick. We ordered a large meze as a main course to share which is the best way to sample everything. It was all delicious from the aubergine dip to the little lamb sausages. Nice to have a little of everything. We had an assortment of little honey and nut pastries for dessert. I would definitely return!

Fahkredine is more style over substance but still a lovely restaurant to visit if you feel like a romantic middle eastern meal. The décor is beautiful, very modern, sleek and intimate lighting. The food is average and very expensive. Its a great«first date restaurant» as its intimate but no too intimate, beautiful and not too loud.
