What a disappointing experience at this Starbucks. Please note this review is written by an American, and is comparing this Starbucks against the ones in America. 1. No Blonde Roast 2. No Splenda, just Sweet and Low 3. None of those green sticks to put in the cup lid to prevent the liquid from spilling out. Pretty horrible, when you need to jump a cab after getting your coffee 4. No heavy whipping cream, in fact, no half and half. Just skim milk. :(

This is sort of a blanket review for all Starbucks in the UK. I really have to ask the question: why on earth do we not have falafel paninis in the US?! It was simply delicious and well worth forgoing a trip to Pret a Manger in order to take advantage of the free(ish) WiFi. (WiFi is free if you have a Starbucks Reward card — minimum $ 5).

Another in the multitude of Starbucks, this one is in a fantastic location on Piccadilly. From the windows, you can look out at the very busy traffic on Piccadilly and well into the grass and trees of Green Park. Yes, they have all the usuals of Starbucks. Coolers of sandwiches and pastries, cold drinks, and of course coffee beverages. Free wi-fi for BT Openzone members or if you top up a Starbucks card with £5. Plentiful tables and nearby power outlets. I’ve not been hassled sitting here for a while with my empty £1 coffee cup. Unlike other locations, this one does not have outside seating. Possibly because it’s a very busy pavement(«sidewalk» in American).

Cramped, dirty, undermanned — not my favourite Starbucks in London. That’s for sure! The toilet is nasty and the last time I was there(which was probably the actual last time I’ll ever go there), I had the pleasure of using the toilet right after a vagrant used the same facilities to bathe. Not pleasant. A lot of the electrical outlets do not work here. And that’s my major complaint about this place. I was there trying to do some work and ended up playing a round of musical chairs looking for an outlet(and there just aren’t that many in the shop — working or non) to charge my Macbook’s battery. Given the location, I can appreciate the pressures and constraints. Also, it’s probably one of the older Starbucks outlets in town. So, showing a bit of age is understandable. Still, that doesn’t mean I have to return.

Get here early morning. Relaxed atmosphere and you can watch the rush fly by. Get a free filter coffee at the moment when you use a Starbucks card!

This is a poor example of a starbucks. It is close to greenpark station, on picadilly, so it is in the center of a very tourist-laden area. This extends into the café, so it is always busy, and very noisy, and full(in my opinion) of annoying tourists, who somehow always manage to get in your way. The cold drinks are good here in the summer, as is the hot chocolate, but every thing else is crummy really. The loo is ALWAYS broken, I have been here a fer times over the course of the past year or so, and every time, the loo has been out of service. There isn’t much going for this starbucks here really, apart from the cold drinks, and this one being situated on Picadilly, means that there are tonnes of much better cafes, that suite all price ranges around you, many less than a minute away. I suppose it could be a last resort café of sorts, and it is quite close to the royal academy if your planning to go there.
