I got my first ever free coffee from Pret at this location today, so obviously it gets a high rating. LOL. I’d thought it was an urban myth that Pret randomly chooses customers and makes their order complimentary(thy are the only coffee chain I know in London that does not have a membership/loyalty scheme) But I do like their coffee and if I have to go to a chain in London it would be either Pret when I want a lighter one or Café Nero for a stronger one. So today when I wanted a coffee after the Unilocal Newbie Night to keep me warm on the walk home, I stepped into this outlet. It’s a really large space and they have standard Pret stuff on offer. So nothing more to add on that front. But this location will always be a favourite for comping me my first Pret Latte

I called in PRET A Manger late in the evening, hoping to get some food to take back to my hotel nearby, and this being one of the only«quick and go» places for soup being open. I decided to call in and take a look at their soups, with this being one of the main things PRET does, alongside sandwiches and coffee. They didn’t have a lot of soup left, with only the Cream of chicken left, I asked if it was gluten free, and the staff seemed good getting the book out straight away, and I found out that it was. If I remember correctly it was a little pricey and just over £3, which I don’t normally mind paying for at EAT for example where the soup tends to be good quality, but I didn’t find that here. The soup wasn’t very nice, it was hot which was good for it being so late, but the soup just didn’t taste good quality, with the chicken and other vegetables inside being quite hard, chewy and simply not very nice, and because it was filled with them, I just had to stop eating my soup. This is quite a nice branch, but I have seen other nicer stores in London, and they is quite a lot of coffee shops, including PRET, Café Concerto, Starbucks, Costa and EAT so they is strong, competition, but the location here is good, being quite close to Green Park station, and located on Piccadilly, but still due to the soup being expensive and not very nice, I can’t give any more than 2 stars, the store gives me some sort of good vibe, which is the reason why I feel it doesn’t deserve just one, and it would be unfair to give one due to the time I have visited.

Food –awesome quick healthy eat in or to go. Fresh! Wish we had something like this in the US. Kept me and hubs going while on vacay in London. Sandwiches, salads, soups, fruit, yogurt, coffees and teas. Many locations in London.

Good for Rolls and Sandwiches. Long wait for seating over lunch period. The coffee is terrible.
