Desperately hungry without time to research, we popped into Franco’s as it looked decent and all the staff appeared to be Italian, so how bad could it be? Sorry to say we were extremely disappointed. 1⁄3 of my wife’s mussels didn’t open, the veal was pretty dry and my pizza tasted like it was bought at Aldi and microwaved. The waitstaff were very friendly and full of smiles, but I’m sorry, it was possibly the worst Italian food we’ve ever eaten. The lesson learned was not to spontaneously drop into any restaurants in the Leicester Square area without a recommendation(something Londoners probably already know). It was not cheap and it simply was not acceptable food — M&S frozen meals taste better.

Fabulous little spot. Felt like we were on the piazza in Tuscany. Friendly staff, solid food. Comfort.

We only went there because the other restaurant we wanted to go to was fully booked, so maybe I was slightly prejudiced. It is really average in all respects, but I don’t think I will go back.

Très bonne petite pizzeria au coeur de Soho. Le service est efficace, les pâtes délicieuses, tout comme les pizzae ! Salle avec beaucoup de charme. Comptez environ 50 £ pour plat/dessert/boisson.
