Dusty Dicks Craft Beer Emporium. This craft beer pop up is by the Harringey Arms pub in Crouch End and has a good range of craft beers. Not as many wheat beers as I would like but they did say they could try and get some for me given time. Always up for a cosy little place to experiment with beers so good to have in area.

This place is great. Me and my friends love the décor(music/movie posters, star wars figures, Back To The Future toy car.) and the atmosphere always seems lovely, with a few interesting characters. Theres no music but there is a juke box sitting in the corner with a great choice of music and every so often theres a band playing. Oh and I think theres a resident cat, which is always a plus!

Proper old school boozer, with wall to wall carpets and real ale on tap. Friendly local. Thumbs up.

On relfection, I think my previous review was slightly childish. Thank you to the management for their response. I appreciate you are running a new business and I do not wish to cause you problems early on by being a dick on the internet! I will then, review it slightly differently: The Harringay arms is now under new management. The previous incarnation of this place was my favourite boozer in London. It has now been spruced up and a juke box added, which has changed the atmosphere slightly. No longer can you sit and read a book in complete silence and a saturday night, but I doubt it was much of a money maker like that. In short, this place is no longer my favourite, but I am sure many crouch enders will love it and I will doubtless return anyway!

Another pub that I could imagine my parents going to when I was a child. The kind of pub where you expect a big cloud of smoke but alasno more(actually I’m not a smoker, I just wish there were 1 or 2 smokey pubs around where you could reminisce). Has screens for the football but also on the night I was there was a quizthe quiz must have started within 30 seconds of the final whistle of the football. no break in the entertainment.

Great little traditional boozer, run by a friendly Irish landlord since time began. Defiantly untrendy in contrast to most other pubs in crouch end, you won’t find any gastropub menu or resident DJ here. If you’re after a decent pint and some good conversation, amidst some distinctly quirky local characters, this is the place for you. Downsides are it’s small so getting a seat can sometimes be tricky, and the Guinness could be a bit better(surprisingly given it’s heritage), but all in all a cracking wee place.
