Came here for a quick bite before heading off to a show near by, unfortunately it took over 25 minutes for them to bring our burgers and almost had to cancel our order. The food was well presented, the burgers were cooked to perfection they will ask you how you would like them done and the beef was cooked exactly right. They were tasty with a lot of meat and filling and nicely seasoned chips. They only have a few tables inside, there is bench seating around the cooking area and it’s inside a stable like are and there are lots of benches and seating around here that I guess the other businesses share, but they were closed when we were there.

Food wise, I would be inclined to go all out with 5 stars, however, the price drags it down some. It is, with out a doubt, a very good burger, very good indeed, but I don’t think any burger(unless it was made with Kobe beef) is worth more than £10-ish. We paid £16−17 per person, including drinks. A bit too steep for a burger and a beer. I guess that’s what you get for sitting down in what must be one of the most touristy areas in London. ;o) There weren’t much of an eating area and they weren’t allowed to serve their food to costumers sitting in the adjoining area since it belonged to a different restaurant. We did find a spot and the servers were spot on; not too pushy and too attentive, but made sure we were alright and everything was satisfactory.

Definitely a solid 4 star, especially for a burger chain. Perfect size burger, love the buns, tasty indigents. Can never go wrong with fries + chipotle mayonnaise! Lemonade perfectly refreshing as well. This joint stays open much later than its nearby neighbors, really great for a late dinner before a show at the Roundhouse. The location and interior is a bit weird. Customers that were ordering take out just sort of stand near the entrance, which is really quite narrow. So it took us forever just to be seated. There arent that many tables in the front, but it looks like you can sit in the additional seating out back as well? The service was friendly but definitely on the slow slide. One downside was that they ran out of the local beer at night — not sure if this is a common occurrence.

Excellent burger, the double is very big. Home made Potatoes are good too and people are welcoming.

Tiny location but amazing food! Make sure to try the special. The regular burgers are good(and the fries! — order the chipotle mayo, you won’t regret it), but the specials are where Honest truly shines. Camden location is great to people watch if you get a seat outside or at the counter.

Very, very good burgers AND great service. They brought me wrong sides and let me keep it when they brought the right ones — sweet! Staff is generally very friendly — it really made me enjoy my meal! The burger patty was a little bit dry, even though I ordered medium rare — but it was delicious nevertheless(I’m just being overly picky) Simple menu, simply good burgers — I’m no connosseur but I think I’ll go back again. No wait at all — despite of being there on a Friday evening — the only disadvantage maybe the seating by the open gates — but you don’t have to if it’s cold outside and wait for a table inside the stables market.

This burger place is often mentioned amongst the best burgers in London and I have to say that it will definitely not disappoint. The burgers are delicious! However I have to admit that it was the chips that did it for me. I love chips so much and these ones were lovely. They were crunchy and had delicious herbs on them that made them even better! I also like how they have an open kitchen area so you can see your food being made. If you are in Camden you should definitely try them out, although it may be a bit of a wait to find seating space, as the place gets quite busy.

I’ve always been a big fan of the honest burger. Now it’s put two of my favourite things together — Beavertown beer(a London local) and it’s burgers together! AMAAAAZING! Best burger I have had — particularly if you are a fan of the pickle. To top it off the rosemary salted fries are a great accompaniment. Camden location was quiet on a weeknight which meant for a good place to hide from the hustle and bustle of the high st.

Well, let me be honest. Unfortunately I don’t know why but, the buns were cold. I hope it was just happened accidentally. I may not come back though.

Honestly one of my favourite burgers in London :) I could wax poetic about how perfect this burger is to me. For me, quality, taste, and simplicity make a great burger. From the perfect ratio of bun to meat, to the juicy taste of said meat, this burger makes me happy. It is a small to medium size, just perfect to bite into without all the insides falling out. The meat is cooked slightly pink and it tastes amazing. Basically, the bun and meat are really good quality and I can taste them, not just ten thousand other toppings covering them like some other burger places do. They keep the toppings simple and their chips spiced with rosemary which is a winning combination and always delicious. Sometimes it is a bit salty but I still find it hard to resist. I also really enjoy their lemonade which comes served in a really cute jar with a straw. Honest Burger is also very consistent as I have never had a bad burger in all the times I’ve been to any of the branches around London. I highly recommend this place!

If you want a burger around Camden Town, Honest Burger is one of the best options — and don’t forget to look at the specials! On my way to a concert of the excellent Ólafur Arnalds at The Roundhouse, I stopped by at the Camden Lock branch of Honest Burgers. The service was as welcoming and friendly as always at Honest Burgers. This evening, I decided to order the summer special at the Camden Lock branch, the Backyard Burger. In the past, I had already really enjoyed other specials, and the Backyard Burger did not disappoint. The delicious combination of a medium-rare beef patty with slightly spicy, salty tobacco onions and tasty Backyard mayo made a pretty solid burger. The crispy rosemary fries are still amongst the best you can get and the homemade lemonade is a nice refreshment, helping to wash down a decent burger. No question, Honest Burgers is the place to go if you want a really good burger near Camden Lock.

I really like the idea of Honest Burger — the guy I ordered from was very friendly, the price is amazing for London, and I got my takeaway burger in just a few minutes. I also loved the flavouful fries, which come with the burger(this was a great surprise because I didn’t realise this when I ordered). Having said all that, I wasn’t too excited about my burger. I got the veggie one, and it was good, but not great. The heat overwhelmed the rest of the flavors, and it needed more of the yogurt sauce to kick up some of the non-hot flavors. I like spicy things, but it has to taste good otherwise and not feel like the hotness is trying to hide meh flavor. Good try, though, and I’m sure their animal burgers are much better as those are their specialty.

Excellent burger, in terms of both meat and buns. Also, chips here are the best. I’ve tried honest burgers here and in King’s cross, and both are of the same quality, 5 stars!

From a pescetarian: I was so looking forward to trying out this place because the website, the décor and the staff have such a cool vibe. Plus, it’s a nice little getaway from all the crowds in Camden, despite it being in the heart of it. My diet only allowed me to order the fritter option, which sounded very interesting, and got the chipotle mayo for the chips/fries. It looked and smelled great when it came out, but unfortunately, the taste didn’t really live up to the ingredients that are supposedly included. It’s just too creamy and fatty for me. My husband got a normal cheeseburger and he was also a bit underwhelmed considering the hype about the brand. But we both agreed that the price isn’t the worst, if that’s something that is important to you. That said, we’ve both had quite a few burgers from around the States, so we might have really high expectations!!!

Yep, nothing new to add. Awesome burgers and chips! proper food! yay!!! Juicy goodness in a lovely soft Brioche bun. Rosemary chips… Rock. My. World. Smaller place than some of the other Honest Burger restaurants. Friendly staff and good tunes too! Recommend for sure!

If I’m honest(ba-dum) I really wanted more from this burger. I’m sure I’d been told by others about how raw-some they are, and so when I spotted this little stop off(and was just ready for tea) I felt as though I was in the right place at precisely the right time. It’s a cute little venue, with only room for likely twenty or so folks, and I’m a fan of the simple set up. There’s all kinds of lovely aspects that make it feel like a quality spot, from the new cocktail(which you have to ask the staff about for details), homemade lemonade, and selection of decent beers from local spots. The menu makes ordering easy, since there’s just three routes to go down, and it’s as simple as that. I went for the cheeseburger, with red leicester, which was pretty lovely. It was a good burger, cooked rare unless you ask otherwise, and comes with the infamous rosemary fries. Those, although rather salty, were delicious. The burger was good, but alas, didn’t hit the spot like others have before it. It had all the right elements — gherkins, raw cooked, good bun, melty cheese. I’m not sure why it didn’t quite work for me – perhaps the flavour of the meat didn’t capture me? I must go again, as I almost feel like this is my fault and not theirs, since they’re so lovely. The staff were grand, and really pleasant, and I’d still recommend you go along and make up your own mind. If I’m ever back, it’ll certainly be getting a second chance from me.

Honestly the best burger I ever had… this is fast-food at its best… the place is really small, only a few tables and seats at the bar… I had the honest burger, it was grilled to perfection, reasonable price, beautiful fries, will be back!

Imma huge fan. Tried out the Camden location today, inviting along a group of colleagues while raving all the while about the thrice-cooked rosemary fries. I didn’t know what to expect from the Camden Market location — known for its food stalls. Would we be standing up over counters, sitting at stools? Would we luck out and get a table on a Friday lunch hour? We ended up belly-up at the«bar» which overlooks the tiny kitchen where the magic happens. This sounds cool, but if you’re starving you’ll go absolutely insane tracking each and every burger, wishing, hoping, dreaming its yours. Also, you get a full frontal on the greasy air coming off that grill and out of that fry cooker. It’s entertaining but not worth the heartbreak at seeing YOUR burger given to another customer over and over again and going home reeking of cooked meat. As we were right by the action, I noticed something peculiar. Three burgers were sent back to the kitchen. Two from the same table and then a third from another. When my burger arrived, I had it figured out. They aren’t just pink in the middle, they were downright raw. Like fleshy, slick … I’ve never eaten beef that raw. I’m ok with pink, I’m not that cool with bloody, but downright raw? Thing is, I was goddamn starving and not about the send it back. The server made sure we were ok with«medium cooked that’s pink in the middle»(and it’s on the menu) so I would have felt odd. It can’t just be my interpretation though, right? Anyway, don’t let that deter you, it’s damn fine burger, just be sure to be explicit in your cooking instructions. All six of us found the fries to be oversalted as well. If you’re sensitive to that, a warning to you. But the rosemary flavor is so insanely good. Nom nom. Go there! Go now!

Mmm, honestly, still a great burger. Big fan of the other two Honest Burgers. I was a fan in Brixton and even more of a fan in Soho(for the sole selfish reason that it was closer to my house.) Now they’ve opened up their third and I am happy all over again. This is the smallest Honest Burger to date. It’s located inside the Camden Lock Market. It’s right next to Chin Chin Laboratory, if that gives you a sense of location. When you walk in, there’s a small seating area to your left. There are then a few more seats around the grill down a hallway into the market. But overall, Big groups may have trouble here but two or three people should be fine. As always, the food is just amazing. Delicious quality burgers. Rosemary chips that blow your mind. Some great specials of the day. Still one of the best hamburgers in London. Come down, take a break from the chaos of Camden and enjoy this sister offshoot of the original. You will be happy you did.
