Delicious! But apparently, by the looks of other’s comments, it depends what you have in mind when you come here. I was looking for something relatively inexpensive, where I could have a few vegetarian options. Success! Not the best service, but again, what can you expect from a restaurant where the main theme is ‘serve yourself’. The quality of the vegetarian items(the only ones I’ve had, so rightfully the only ones I can speak to) are delicious and perfectly priced for my wallet. have fun and don’t expect too much and you will enjoy yourself.

We had walked by this location on a previous night and liked the conveyor belt action. So we thought, why not. I didn’t get a chance to really look at the people, but the reviews here were promising. I believe the woman who sat us I thought was German, but after researching, I believe she was Russian as was our server. I could be wrong. Each plate that parades by has a color ring: grey, black, and gold. There was also a plain white plate too. So depending on the plate, is what you will be charged. I ordered a lemon grass vodka fizz and the partner ordered an Asahi. We ate salmon sashimi, a California roll(LOL!), spicy tuna and avocado, spinach, and broccoli. The vegetables came with a sesame sauce. There were no Japanese workers to be seen. I’m not sure who was preparing the food either as we couldn’t see into the kitchen. I also ordered us the free range chicken teriyaki, and lo and behold, it came with rice! The chicken was tender and the sauce delicious. Anytime we needed anything, there was a button at the table to push and a waitress would come. In some respects it reminded me of a cafeteria, but the atmosphere was hip and cool and the lighting subdued, so it made for a very nice evening. The only thing Japanese is the name. The company did shoot to fame when it was mentioned in the Alexander Litvinenko poisoning in 2006, though it had nothing to do with it. Total cost with dessert, 47 pounds, which we found to be reasonable for the amount we ate. I would definitely come back. I love London! I keep getting rid of my «pounds»…LOL!

I was wandering sadly along Brewer Street, having walked out of Snog when I couldn’t in all clear conscience, pay what they were demanding for for yo when a little memory stirred in my brain — didn’t Tom E say that Itsu also did fro yo and it was just round the corner. I hadn’t been impressed with Itsu’s restaurant service, having found the food quite bland and not fresh tasting. However, right at the entrance, just as Tom E had said, there was a takeaway section including fro yo. The prices were much more reasonable but only 2 fruits were available as a topping. So I did manage to get my fro yo fix though there’s still a long way to go before we get the proper for yo experience in London. Thanks for Tom E’s review!
