This is definitely the best karaōke in central London. I loved the simple set out rooms, that they have a digital book to select songs and also a paper one, the music quality and that the songs had awesome cheesy video instead of just a boring blue background, that you bring your own food and drink, and, bonus, a competitive price. When I come to London I always like doing karaōke with my friends, this now the only place I want to do it at. P. s. If you need to get some booze when you’re there, go out of the front door and go left down the street, take the first right and there’s a shop just there.

This place is legend! I went with Josy(reviewed below) and we had a fantastic time! I completely echo what she said. Two-thirds of the people that were there for this karaōke night(so like … 10 of us?) had all lived in Japan previously. This karaōke place was exactly as they are in Japan and it was FABULOUS! Thoroughly enjoyed seeing all of my Japan friends while in London for the weekend and rocking out at Epoc like old times! Take Josy’s advise and look at out for the DeLux Cleaning sign. And call ahead for reservations. Oh and bring your own alcohol and snacks! HAPPYSINGING!

Oh my goodness! I can’t believe no-one has reviewed the epic Karaōke Epoc yet! When I was a student, I was never completely convinced that this place existed. I had vague drunken memories of stumbling into a manga shop and finding a mini-Japan style Karaōke box… I must have been here quite a few times with different groups of Japanese friends. However I could never find it again when I was sober. *blushes* Karaōke Epoc is hidden at the back of Adanami Shobo(the Japanese Manga/book shop on Brewer street.) If you have never been there before, it can be a teeny bit tricky to find… look out for a ‘De-lux Cleaning’ sign to find the shop. This is one of the least posh karaōke places in London. The décor is a little old/scabby looking… but it is also brilliant! I’ll tell you why: — We booked the huuuge room downstairs, and had more than enough room for all 16 of us. There was even enough room for us to dance around the table as well! — They have teeny 4 – 6 people rooms upstairs if you have a smaller group. — There was a fridge in the corner, so we brought drinks and kept them cool in there. — The remote control is like a mini computer… you can search by song title or by artist. Ask for help if you can’t read Japanese. — There is a decent Japanese/Korean/Chinese selection of songs as well as all the old English favorites. Oooh and a whole page of disney songs!(^^) — It is really cheap, especially if you go early and have a large group of singing friends. Last night I paid £11 for three hours. I’m not the only on that loves this place! Make sure you book in advance as it is nearly always booked up.
