Had the black cod — ridiculous amazing — pork belly — scrumptious– load of sushi — recommend to all!

Celebrated my birthday here last Thursday and had a very special and memorable evening.
The standout part for me was the service. From beginning to end we were served by an extremely attentive and welcoming hostess. The drinks manager was also super friendly and also came over to chat with us about the cocktails that we had chosen.
And the cocktails were. amazing! I ordered a ‘Salsa Verde’ cocktail (made with tequila), which was like a margarita, but so much better! I also tried another cocktail, this time with mescal, that was equally as unique. I have to say that they were some of the best cocktails I’ve had in London!
We ordered a variety of sushi dishes– salmon sashimi, scallop nigiri, amoebe (sweet shrimp nigiri) and a couple of the ‘Kiru Style Sushi’ pieces. From this section of the menu we enjoyed the Toro with Truffle Yuzu Miso, Japanese Wagyu with Wasabi Salsa and the Eel Foie Gras on Crispy Cup.
The sushi was very fresh, and did not disappoint. In particular, I really enjoyed the special pieces, each one with a very rich and unique flavour. Out of the hot dishes, we opted for the crab tempura (so good) and the black miso cod. The cod was cooked perfectly and came as a generous serving– there is plenty to share between two.
For dessert, we selected the ‘Marumado’, a yummy tofu cheesecake complimented with a scoop of refreshing sorbet on the side. As we were celebrating my birthday, we were also presented with a complementary scoop of green tea ice-​cream, complete with birthday candle!
To top off our fabulous meal, the cocktail creator (Christian) gave us delicious tequila/​mescal shots on the house!
We took advantage of the 25% soft opening, which I believe remains until December. Considering we had cocktails with our dinner, the price was exceptional value for such high quality sushi, especially given the restaurants excellent location (just off the Kings Road).

I don’t even know where to start. I travel a ton for work and especially come to London. This is by far the best restaurant I’ve been to and that says a lot! Not only was the food mouthwateringly good but the drinks and service just topped it all off. My absolute favorites were the lobster and the beef tataki but everything we ordered was delicious. The beef tataki was orgasmic!
I will be coming back here again and again!
