This café is so lovely. I spent several days there this summer just relaxing and working with their drinks and food. I love this place and miss it dearly. The workers are all super nice as well!

The breakfast was bad. This place tries too hard to be something it is not and that is reflected in the food as well. There is no personality, no real identity. Both of us left almost everything on the plate as the quality and preparation of our food were so poor and random. The staff were unfriendly and quite rude as well. The only thing that is nice there to be fair is the coffee but it’s not enough to make us go back — no way!

I am very surprised Lazy Social does not have any reviews. Although, since many times I have walked by and they’ve been shuttered and dead-closed, I guess not so surprised. However, they do have great word of mouth and have been voted one of London’s best breakfasts a couple of times. So it is worth checking out. And check it out I did, basically to come in, look around and grab a coffee to go. It’s a fun space with quirky wooden tables and posters of Charlie Chaplin and John Lennon on the wall. The staff were friendly and fun and the coffee was nicely brewed. I enjoyed my cup and got it quickly, which was nice because I had to run. I will say they’re a little intense about people working there. There was a sign up declaring some tables only for groups and for families and that they were laptop free tables. Yikes. So just know if you’re coming to work or coming by yourself, you may want to go elsewhere(or be prepared to be sent to the back for the solo-people.) However, if you are with a group and in the area, maybe this is the perfect spot for you. I know I’ll be back to try breakfast soon.
