Great if your not a black male, have girls with you and have 1000s pound to get a table. Racist club, rude door stuff, should have highlighted that blacks where not allowed on the guestlist at least we would have had the heads up before wasting our time.

Zara L might not have liked the Coyote Ugly vibe, but I did… I just wished the girls were better dancers? I mean if you are going to hire some dancing girls, go the whole hog and get some good ones! I didn’t like the fact that all the tables were prebooked and there was a huge bemouth of a VIP area. In general I do believe that clubs should be exclusive in its membership but inclusive once inside. That’s totally like what bouncers are for. Also, after all that money they spent on the faux exposed brick work, cagey(as in literally iron bars not dodge) feel and smoke machines, couldn’t they have spent a bit more on the toilets? Neither dain, nor disdain. And it did get hyper busy, full of heaving beautiful bodies of a mixed crowd by around midnight… Would I be back? Yes. Would I suggest it to other people? Yes, if in a mixed group of age and taste. Would it become my personal mecca? No.

Not amazing, but nay bad indeid. Vicky L and I weren’t up for a big night, Love and Liquor was quite adequate for mild fun and a little dance. Music wasn’t bad either. But as much as I like sparkly bra tops — why do they have girls dancing in them and small pants on top of the bar? This isn’t Coyote Ugly. I can only conclude it is to bring the gentlemen in, as I swear I didn’t see many of them in the place until they started gyrating. Also this place has smoke machine which I think is a bit OTT, but I guess it keeps it dim and us all semi blind. Overall, I am not saying this is am ‘OMG must visit’ bar, but instead I’d say it’s a not bad for an amusing but not huge local night out, especially when you want to avoid the trek to East London.

This is a sterling example of how an awesome bar can be made bad by loud music! The staff were lovely and the drinks free flowing(I rather like that you can buy a bottle of spirits for a set fee and you get unlimited mixers — so you can make your drinks how you like them), however we couldn’t stay as long as we would have liked too as we just couldn’t talk. After about an hour of giving ourselves croaky voices by having to shout at each other, we’d had enough! A fantastic, place decorated exceptionally well from head to toe with fantastic lighting and unique art, and a really exceptional setting. The music itself was pretty good, and I really think that this place would be fantastic as a club setting(I love the laser show by the DJ booth), but really it’s not an early evening venue. We got there at about 9pm, everyone was sober, and it had already started pumping! I’d seriously suggest going somewhere else first for drinks and then on to here for dancing the night away, not the other way round! Definitely worth a visit, if not for the great atmosphere — but my recommendation is to take ear plugs. These guys also don’t serve food — so bear that in mind too!
