Mamma Mia is a great night out! You don’t go for the set, the flashy lights or colors, you go for well liked ABBA songs. The story line is well known, there isn’t much you can do with it but the music is fun and if you like ABBA then you definitely want to go. I like at the end how it can become a ‘party’.

A girly, feel good show with some nice sprinkles of comedy but overall the staging is too simple and the show lacking in creativity. The ABBA songs are already fantastic and translates to everyone so having them performed live is bound to be a pleasure to witness and hear however the rest of the musical and story-telling was rather lack-lustre. In short, this show can be a nice experience if you’re not looking for much acting, story or content in general but simply some girly banter and fun songs.

MAMMA MIA what a fun night.
I went to see this musical with my friend who doesn’t really understand a lot of English so I was basically translating when they talked. (Thank god it’s a musical so they were singing most of the time :)…)
It is a good story, cool music and just a fun night out and even if you have friends who don’t understand English, they all understand ABBA right?
