A classic true comedy club, and one with a pretty great reputation for top notch talent. We went for The Cutting Edge on a Tuesday night and it was great! Well worth the value, as it was much cheaper than most stand up comedy tickets. On a Tuesday, a lower level of talent is to be expected but these guys were great. And most of the show was improv too, making it even more impressive. This place has an intimate setting where you are right near the stage and practically on the same level. It would be a great place to see one of your favorite comedians, well worth the ticket price for the close proximity and unbeatable atmosphere!

I’ve been to quite a few comedy clubs in London and this is by far the best. It’s located just off Picadilly Circus under ground. I have only ever gone to the late show which starts at 11pm — the tickets are pretty pricey at £17 for a student but definitely worth it as you get to see five acts who are always hilarious. I’d recommend pre booking tickets online. The bar is the best but though, they do pitchers of cider for £16 which tends to last for the show and means you don’t have to get up and queue! My only word of warning is don’t sit at the front!!!

A fantastic comedy store, underground just as I like it, with a good selection of comedians. If you love stand-up, you’re going to love this one. I personally find it a bit expensive compared to other stores I also go to, maybe because of the location maybe? It’s worth it though, you’re going to laugh like like hell. And booze is cheap so go for it! :)

Went here on Sunday night for the Comedy Store Players and it was bloody brilliant! So funny, not too expensive for entry or drinks, just the right length. Just brilliant — go!

Great venue, well located and seating inside means most seats have a decent view of the action. Bar hosts a decent selection and happy hour is until 7.30pm so get there early to secure a good spot and have a tipple or two to get you in the mood. Highly recommend for a great night out for under £20.

If I was reviewing the night I went to see it would easily get 5 stars. I was lucky enough to watch a fantastic line up for a charity benefit night however this is more about the venue. Poor drinks selection, especially for beers and very expensive for a not very nice drink. I believe there is £1 off a pint if you arrive before half 7 however I didn’t manage that. Food is also expensive, £4 for what looked like a bowl of deep fried McCain potato wedges and the rest of the menu seemed to be equally good value. It does seem to have the bigger names appearing however you do pay for the pleasure and in my opinion you would be better off trying your luck at one of the smaller venues

Great venue with lots of top comedians. Usually you can get a good deal on last minute or Yplan, particularly for the really late shows. Inside the venue is reasonably big, but no-where near as big as the Comedy Store in Manchester which is massive. There is a bar, cloakroom and you can order food too. The prices are reasonable and the chicken burger I had was very tasty, being what seemed like almost a whole chicken breast in a bun. The location is fantastic, but hidden slightly off Leicester Square on the corner of a side street. Once you know where it is though you can’t miss it with the giant laughing mouth logo located above the door.

Attended an Improv show at The Comedy Store and it turned out to be a night to remember. There were tons of laughs as the audience participated quite a lot and the professional comedians made sure that everyone had a great time. The only reason I’m sparing the 5th star is the fact that I strongly disliked the food. I am aware that it is a comedy club not a restaurant but still the quality of the meals should be improved.

Being a real wanna be comedian myself, I do get inspired watching other really experienced comedians perform and this is definitely the place where comedian dreams are made of. I’ve been to a number of comedy clubs around London but I finally made it to the legendary Comedy Store. I went on a Tuesday night for the Cutting Edge where they have 6 experienced acts performing materials based on a series of topics provided by the audience — so it was any news event in the past year. I really liked the short pieces of material and the variety of topics that was covered. They play a series of games to see which comedian wins each round. I thought it was absolutely brilliant and laughed my face off most of the night. I really enjoyed it and will definitely try and see the more experienced acts on the weekends. It’s definitely worth the premium you pay compared to other clubs in the area.

If you are going to see comedy, go and see it here! I will be the first one to admit I am a whole hearted, complete and utter comedy nerd. I have seen stand up in pubs, clubs, bars and even on a canal boat, but nowhere comes near to The Comedy Store. This place is what Wembley is to football fans, what The Albert Hall is to music lovers, what Cliff Richard is to people who love plastic surgery — it is ‘the’ place for comedy. You have your regulars from TV and Radio, but also pro’s who have been making people laugh for decades. You are guaranteed a good night and to be left awash with endorphins and mirth. It might not be the cheapest night, but you get what you pay for. Micheal McIntrye, Lee Evans and Jason Manford ASK to do this venue. Plus, not a lot of people know, Wales’ funny man Rhod Gilbert is actually represented by them alone. So, if you pop along you might see a familiar face. Particular shows you should look out for: Best In Stand Up Cutting Edge Any Charity Event Do yourself and your funny bone a favour, try it out and you won’t regret it

Oh my god this place is the best. The Comedy Store is iconic. It’s been around for ever and some of the biggest comedians in the world have worked there magic on the Comedy Store stage to the sounds of raucous laughter and clinking beer swirls. Its just great, hasn’t changed at all over the years even though its as famous as it is. World class comedians still frequent the Comedy Store, often you will have a celebrity comedians from«Mock the Week» and other TV shows doing a gig. I They have a basic menu which runs late so you can eat and laugh and the food is very cheap but tasty and worth trying, They have a full bar with everything you need. A little tradition of mine is to buy a jug of beer to share with friends while you watch the show. I thing they offer discounts on Jugs. Worth asking. If your ever in London in the Soho area at night, I recommend climbing down the stairs and enter the pit of laughter which is the Comedy Store!

3 of us went there for my husband’s birthday. We went to the 11pm show on a friday night and we all had a great time. All the acts were great and the host was super funny and kept the crowd pumped. I would def go back again but maybe to an earlier show, we’re getting old.

Excellent entertainment, it’s a bit awkward moving about with food/drinks before the show starts, but once it starts it’s not really an issue. Would prefer a bit more variety on the food menu, but I understand it’s not a restaurant. Really good night.

The Comedy Store is a great underground comedy club in Soho. And you are going to laugh. Like it’s famous brother back in California, the Comedy Store does comedy. Come down the stairs and find a bar and coat check when you walk in followed by rows and rows of seats and a small stage. That’s about it, they let the comedians speak for themselves. Unlike comedy clubs back in the states there was no food/drink minimum on top of my ticket(this is my first here so I don’t know how it’s done, but that was nice. I always disliked that policy.) Sound was good and you could hear it all the way in the back to the bar. The only real issue I had here was the seating, which were all individual chairs pushed as closed together as humanely possible. You will indeed be crammed up next to whoever is next to you, so I hope you like them. For god sakes, you must like them! Beyond that though, I had an awesome night. Good drinks, good laughs, good times.

Perfect for a group of friends or coworkers to get together, enjoy a drink or two and have a few laughs. Having gone on Improv Wednesday, we enjoyed some great comedy from a whose line is it anyways style group of comedians. Each one was on form and flowed well with both each other and the audience. Great for those groups who just cannot decide on what to do or for the rainy London days.

Went for dinner… and it was packed!!! Good thing there was one table for me and my two flatmates… we squished in! Musta been dinner time rush. Only one steak and ale pie left… so they obviously gave it to me because i haven’t tried before — i mean how can you be in london and NOT try this?! Outrageous! It was delicious and I was veryyyy full. I also came here at night time once… and the downstairs had free karaōke. but it was kinda«meh». Make sure you BRING the party!!!

After reading some of the top comedian’s autobiographies this summer and learning more and more about how the comedy store pushes new talent to the fore front of British Tv’s. I thought it had to be done, I had to get down to a night. we booked our tickets in advance, got decent seats and loved every minute of it. You can tell the difference instantly by the compeer(Spelling) He was spot on. One of the best nights out in london GETYOURSELFALONG!

Ahh I have officially found my happy place! LOVETHISPLACE Try to get tickets before hand if you want to go on a weekend night! I stood out in the cold for 45 minutes in January to make sure I could get tickets for my boyfriends birthday. I had tried to get tickets 4 days before but they had reserved 70 tickets to sell on the night which was annoying for me! But even having stood out in the cold the comedians lightened my spirits and I laughed whole heartedly, maybe not at every act but the majority were amazingly witty, hilarious, and amusing. I have been here twice now and every time I leave feel addicted and want to go back the following night. Good value or money and a great night out
