Stopped in here for lunch, and having also been tempted by a free sample on the street outside. Apparently a big Turkish brand that’s expanding all over the place and I did see their outlets in Istanbul airport if not elsewhere in Istanbul recently. Simits are rings of dough, coated in sesame that are either eaten as is or sliced open with fillings. Here they’ve expanded to lots of different sandwiches alongside other baked items along the same lines, filling already baked inside, other pastries and frozen yoghurt. This Simit here is good, but perhaps a little expensive, it’s a good little sandwich but you might want to go elsewhere if you’re looking for something substantial. I guess if I have a sesame hunger, I’ll head here again.
