I had the mushroom and halloumi pita. First, there was no chicken on it, just a giant portobello mushroom and some grilled cheese. My fault, I thought even though they don’t mention the chicken, it was in it. Big mistake. Second, the cheese was only in half of the bread. I finished hungry and paid around 8£ for it. And what about the self-service drinks? Watery soft drinks. Why is people queuing outside for 20 minutes? Really, the menu is VERY limited. Only went there because it was in front of the Brixton Academy and there was nothing else around. Not really impressed.

Now Nando’s now your talking! I only been to 2 so far one in Brixton above and Lewisham, this place serves whole half or quarter pieces of Chicken with various spices this you can choose to eat with chips or Rice not only that there are other steak style dishes, chicken wings, and salad also serve with alcohol & soft drinks coke I think is thrown in free upon purchase and I think you can drink as much as you like that is the coke as far as I know only, alcohol you will have to pay for as usual. The food from here is simply marvelous and delicious and if you are going as group of 5 or more it can work out cheaper it you get their bulk buy their promotional feast meals. If you love Chicken style dishes with Rice spicy or otherwise this is definately the place to be well worth it too.

Fried chicken, chips, corn bread, potatoes… mmm! You can’t pass up Nando’s for a reasonably priced eat-in or take away meal! Order a whole chicken with some sides and you’ll be set. Their food is fresh made, grilled over open flame, melt in your mouth enjoyable! + get a punch card and you’ll be getting a half a chicken and then a whole chicken freebee! Definite recommend: peri-peri on the chips! It makes your chips better!

Order that extra spicy! I was craving Mexican; and well we saw Nando’s… This place is actually not bad for the price; you hear people say«You get what you paid for.» It’s not always true; My chicken wasn’t at all greasy; grilled over an open flame; tender & made to order… very good. & they also serve beer and wine. Although it doesn’t compare; thankfully I found me some Nano’s Chicken Spice here state side to get my fix!

When it comes to food, Nando’s is on everybody’s favourite eat out places in London. You could go to any borough of London and find at least two on every corner, but there is something about the vibe in the Brixton one. Everybody from South London goes to this one because they cook the chicken like it’s west indian food which means more meat for your money and better flavouring, than the usual. The staff are very freindly, food is cheap, you could get a meal for less than £6.00 which is a bargain and it’s a nice place to socialise with friends or even if you feel like taking a trip out with the family.
