We’ll give Peppers five stars since the food is not only excellent and flavorful and the menu diverse, best of all its just a few blocks from our new home.

Pepper’s curries are literally the best I’ve ever tasted! Their chicken tikka dhansak is so delicious and unlike other curry places in Chiswick, their dishes aren’t oily or greasy and only taste of the freshest ingredients. I’ve become slightly addicted to curries since I started eating here! The waiters are friendly and helpful too which is always a bonus.

Perhaps the worst Indian food I’ve ever had, and I’ve had dodgy takeaway in Newcastle. Nearly every dish tasted of nothing but sugar, including the rice. The one exception was the saag paneer, which was merely bland beyond belief — it tasted like plain boiled spinach and nothing else. It was also expensive, and took more than an hour and a half to be delivered.

It’s hard to find a place in Chiswick that does a truly excellent curry, but Peppers is the place to go. Exemplary service from friendly staff, absolutely gorgeous, well-prepared food and comfortable surroundings. The prices are very good for a Chiswick-based establishment, too! They also have a takeaway/delivery service which I haven’t tried, but it’s good to see they’re covering all bases, as it were. Here’s hoping they last a LOT longer than their predecessors!

You know how some shop units just seem to have a curse on them, with ventures coming and going like the seasons. Well this unit was one of them — formerly an italian, then a chinese, then a lebanese and now an indian restaurant. You can’t help but start taking bets as to what’ll be next. Which would be a shame, as this current incarnation is actually rather good. In fact i’d go one step further and say its excellent. The food is fresh and tasty and more importantly consistent. I don’t know what it is about the Indian restaurants near to me, but every time you make a visit its as if there’s a different chef — food is spiced differently and even a different colour. So shock horror, 2 visits in and the food was exactly, yes exactly!, the same. The style of cooking is known as «Dumpukht» which counts for nothing with me. All I know is i’ll be going back again & again!
