They have 3pm football matches on. Nice staff and geenrally a good place to stop off for a beer on a pub crawl. Noticed there was live bands playing there which would be good to see so must be a nice rock(irish) pub.

Great place for beers on a Monday night after Tag Rugby. Many nights starting with a cheeky pint, hitting a Tequilla shot speed bump and leading to a late night/early morning lock-in. And in general it’s a good spot to watch sport. Just give them advance notice, good with the Antipodean sport which can be difficult to find. If you get the chance have a chat with Gary who runs the place, really good bloke.

just about ok as a place to watch the fooball, but nothing to keep you there afterwards. Poor beer selection, inattentive bar staff, not the most comfotable or atmospheric venue.

Phibber’s is probably deserving of something more than a three star review, as I have been there several times and enjoyed myself a great deal. I never really had high hopes for the establishment, as it is one of those«Traditionally Authentic Irish Pubs» with dim lighting and oak paneling around the room. In other words, the kind of «traditional pub» what one would find catering to tourists in the West End, not on a side street of North London. But looks can be deceiving. There’s a standard, reasonably priced beer selection, Carling and San Miguel and such, and the staff is very friendly. The outdoor area, while not the best, is satisfactory. While there are several better pubs within walking distance of Phibber’s, what this pub really has going for it is that it is quite probably my favourite place in North London to go watch a football match. Assuredly, Phibber’s is deep within Arsenal territory, but whenever a non-Gunners match is on the tele, the two clubs fans come together and everyone has a wonderful time. Good times abound!

One of my locals, I keep going back because it always has a good vibe. Drink prices are acceptable and there is a decent food menu. Stop in a take a look.

I have to admit I was a little wary of going into this pub, and it took the draw of St Patrick’s Day to get me in after living in the area nearly 3 years. I really don’t know why I didn’t give it a try before. This is a great pub with a really laid back and friendly vibe. It’s also HUGE, with three floors that make it feel spacious and comfortable even on very busy nights. I’m told that live music happens here, and can see how the size makes it a good venue. Next time anyone suggests Waxy O’Connors I think I’ll suggest this one instead — far more character!

Great place. It’s an Irish pub that covers all bases. I have come here for a quiet lunch with a book. And I’ve also come with loads of friends to party upstairs. They have great food, a friendly staff, and a lively atmosphere.
