Quick restaurant that had everything we needed for a family dinner whilst shopping. I am a regular at pizza express and never disappointed with the food. The service was with lots of space for my little one and when they saw he was ready to leave they bought the bill quickly!

In my opinion, Pizza Express does a good range of pizzas, which are, in my experience, tasty and nicely cooked. They try to introduce unusual ingredients — for a little while, they were doing pizzas with truffles on them, though I don’t know if they still are. The menu does also feature a couple of risottos and pastas, but pizza is the main attraction. This particular branch is quite nice — I found it quite difficult to find on my first visit but once you get used to the layout of Westfield, it’s logically situated with the other food places. It’s probably one of the cheaper choices at this shopping centre too, especially if you get a 241 voucher off the internet, or are a member of TasteLondon. I didn’t have to queue, but I did eat quite early on, and it was quite busy by the time I left. Service was okay, but nothing special — and I had to wait ages for the bill! Overall, a fairly good place for a quick bite to eat.

This branch of Pizza Express is on the 3rd level of the retail behemoth that is Westfield London. Pizza Express has got way too expensive for what it is, but there are loads of 2 for 1 vouchers about(The Times often has them) which makes it reasonable. I thought the pizzas here seemed slightly smaller than usual, but the service was slightly better. You have the option of sitting inside the restaurant or on the concourse under a staircase, which I think is a bit odd but there are some sexy booths along the edge. It wasn’t too busy when we went(Tuesday night) but I have seen big queues here at peak shopping/dining hours.

Another in the chain of Pizza Express’s in the UK. It’s a good chain, with good quality pizzas available in a luxury setting — but to be honest, the Fire and Stone pizza company just on the other side of Westfield offers a more unusual range of pizzas. And it’s less likely to have a huge queue.
